Our recent record against Donny is poor I think it's nine defeats two draws and just one win 3 1 away at the Keepmoat in 2018. I recall the 4 nil home defeat at the Mem which proved to be DCs last game as manager. I hope James Coppinger does not play as he always does well against us.
Pretty much lose today and it's a new unwelcome club record 12 home defeats.

Nope.
Can't see anything else but a defeat in which we don't score again.
I hope I'm wrong...

A run of bad results always ends, sooner or later it changes.
The Managers message eventually getting through and creating better performances.
Abit of luck on the field of play comes in handy too.
Then there's the return to play of injured good players.
I hope JBs tactics and game plan is getting through.I suspect to a certain extent it is.
We're due abit of luck.
We've a couple of effective players still injured and this looks a challenge. Our squad strength - or lack of - perhaps exposed.
Whatever team is selected I hope they give it their best and whatever the result,it might be a catalyst to better form and a fighting chance of staying up.

I fear a heavy defeat today. Yes, we're "due" a win, but so are Doncaster. They haven't won since Darren Moore left. They're on the same bad run of form as Plymouth were when we faced them - and look what happened then.
Doncaster seem to favour a back 4; and will often also play a complete 4-3-3. My concern is that, if we again stick to 3 at the back, we'll invite pressure and be caught out time and again with balls behind Leahy and Williams. If I were Doncaster manager, I'd definitely look to exploit all our weaknesses at the back and press high from the start.
I suspect we may go-for-broke and play 3-4-3 with Hanlan, Ayunga and Daly. On the face of it, this looks attacking. In reality, we're more likely to surrender midfield completely and target them with long balls to limited success. I suppose this may work if Doncaster play a reasonably high line.
I would much rather us play a solid 4-5-1: with the midfield 5 comprising Upson, McCormick, Oz, Westbrooke and possibly Barrett. I'd play a solitary striker (possibly Ayunga as Hanlan looks desperately short of confidence); and try to make sure Oz or Westbrooke stays as close to him as possible. We need Upson and McCormick to break up the play; and Oz / WestBrooke / Barrett to play the intelligent passes to open up space. Something we just don't do normally. I'd keep Hanlan and Daly on the bench until necessary and then potentially switch to 4-4-2.
Unless we start controlling the midfield in matches, we're unlikely to win many.
Anyway, Joey is full of surprises and doubtless I'll be completely wrong!
Sorry to say - but predicting 3 - 1 to Doncaster today.

I don't think the players have bought into Bartonism. As a collective I don't think we have a team that can compete in League 1, we reap what Tommy & BG have sown.

That reminded me of one of Tom Gorringe's less than finest moments. unfortunately it wasn't during our non-league period, when we were playing teams we'd barely heard of shame, as it seems a pretty good souvie otherwise

Stats for Doncaster are - P44, W17, D6, L21, We have lost 11 out of our previous 12 matches with them.
We have won 6-1, 4-0 & 3 x 4-2 also we have lost 5-1, 4-0 & 2 x 4-1.
Strangely we have not won at home since Oct 1987, but have done twice away since then.
Come on you blues, put a smile back on our faces.
Otherwise it's back to all those half priced easter eggs.
