Why does everyone call him Joey when he prefers Joe? To me Joey is always the shortest gangster in the room. The one who sneaks off and does all the dirty work. That’s five he’s lost now but it’s never Joey’s fault. The same reason people on here call me Vlad when it’s not actually my name? I just don’t get it, it’s disrespectful no worries Daisy, we will stick to daisy then. what we don’t need is Joey fandom turning on the players. This squad, short of the experienced players the club dumped last couple of years, short of any cutting edge up front, was always destined to struggle this season. We don’t need joey and his insane Joey Fandom turning on them.

I can't work out why we are seeing a similar game week after week?!
Only chances created are half chances, missed....at the other end, easy chances created by opposition are converted. And they should have scored more.
Huff and puff? Nice approach play? Final ball in wrong decision, poor or not good enough? Fragile in defence with no leadership, ball winning mentality, no marking or tracking, simple passing gets through us?
Yep, it's the same old story.
Positives for me was Ayunga. I like his involvement these days, but it appears to be at the expense of Hanlan form, whom is more on floor these days than Stoke Croft p*sshead.
I liked JVS today. All their half chances stuck when he gathered. An appalling scoop distribution luckily fell our way but his handling, positioning and area organisation I prefer to Day.
Baldwin pick of the defence for me. But a poor pick. It wasn't enough. Ehmer was plain awful, out if position and distribution poor.
I also like JedWard inclusion. Well done for bringing in youth. Why can't we do this with striking position? What seriously do we have to lose?
Ok, another not bad performance in midfield, but not good enough in both boxes. Again. And we're only out of relegation zone down to luck. That luck is about to run out as after Tuesday, our matches appear to get much more challenging (on paper).
JAB sounded he was resigned to it on post match interview.... he's acknowledged the "passenger", but what is he going to do about it? And us it enough to keep us up?
I've posted here we are already relegated, just it's not confirmed yet. I haven't seen any (save Pompey and Accrington) to change my mind.
Why are we seeing the same game? Because we are the same poor squad, same assembled players that underperform to their expectations and can't play as a team. No matter whom is manager.....

This squad, short of the experienced players the club dumped last couple of years, short of any cutting edge up front, was always destined to struggle this season. We don’t need joey and his insane Joey Fandom turning on them. and anyone who says it’s all BGs fault needs to wake up and smell the coffee. There’s 4 people on the board here, and, having eased out cocko they claimed they wanted to take it in a different direction, manager novice BG was brought in as part of this new direction, he was not architect of the new direction, he wasn’t even the main builder of the new squad, and he wanted Coppel or some other wise old head to help him particularly match days whilst he got to work on the young players on training ground and this board ignored him. if you look at BGs whole term here the win loss record is abysmal. But not this season alone, he achieved more convincing performances and points against equal and lesser squads this season than any of the managers who followed him including Joey. and you can’t tell me Tisdale, whose been in the management game a long time is clueless at management. Towards the end of his time here he left out Hanlon, and made it public the club needed more cutting edge for the survival fight, and the board, in their infinite wisdom, disagreed with what he was saying. Do you disagree with the opinion Tis came to? do you think the window and lack of support to Tis was fine by the board, all it needed was Barton coming in with the excessive gamesmanship and cheating his Fleetwood side is famous for. Not that he or his Fleetwood side is notable for any great success.

so is dick wittington enthalled in "his team" must be really proud of what he has conjured up here!! 21 attempts on goal.. 55% of the play and zilch to show for it!! That's quite some achievement. 21 attempts, no goals. Isn't it normally something like a ratio of 7 attempts = 1 gaol at this level? The big question is, where's Wael? Always barging to the fore wanting to take credit and have his picture taken when things are going well. The club is in total disarray, the progress made on that magical day against Daggers looks as if it's all been undone, and we are many millions of pounds worse off. Rovers needs leadership now more than ever, and he's vanished. The 20 million pound relegation.

As each game goes by and we misfire, Tommy is looking more and more like a fool That was obvious when he started slagging Tis' off behind his back. What we had was a nobody, who has achieved nothing and has assembled the worst Rovers' squad I can remember, and I've seem some tripe, sneering and sticking a knife into the back of a bloke who is well respected throughout the game. No love for Tisdale here and playing the short game Widdrington came up smelling of roses after Portsmouth but playing the long game Widdrington has been found wanting big time. “are there the goals to keep this team up?” *geordie accent* “One hundred per cent” If there is any justice in this world Widdrington’s arse will be twitching like a rabbit’s nose tonight.

Shame on you Wael, you utter ****ing disaster of an owner you. A relegation 20 million in the making. But never mind, you cleared the debt on paper. Tickety boo.

Barton calling out “passengers” who won’t be with us from Monday.
I seem to remember him saying something similar after the Hull game then changing nothing.
It’s just words. Populist bull 💩 which deflects any blame from him and makes them salivate on Gaschat

Graydon said about Paul Tait after his sending off if he had his way he would take his house away. Strange comment and completely unenforceable.
I did hear Joey tonight and he fronts up and hints at major changes needed and promised it will be sorted. Tuesday is a night of Reckoning. Won't expect Kilgour or Ehmer or Van Stopper in the starting line up. Worry for me is Jaakkolla. Rodman, Nicholson and Ogogo out for the season. Can we bring Davies back from Barrow or not ? Hope History does not repeat itself 1981 2001 2011 and 2021!

The fact is we have who we have and Barton knew that and was happy with that. If he’s over estimated his own capabilities then I guess we have to live with that. For what it’s worth, I thought Kilgour was a cracking player alongside Tony Craig, but people with, ahem, greater knowledge than me obviously didn’t agree

I like it when Barton speaks, he knows what the problems are to an extent. But he shouldn’t be here and he wouldn’t of the custodians of the club had any sort of moral fortitude and sense in their decision making. This is primarily Widdrington and Garner’s show. But even so you can’t exonerate Tisdale and Barton even though you might have some sympathy. When will this f**king club look itself in the mirror? WHEN?!

It’s a bit harsh on a player previously doing so well that he is instantly judged as worthless simply because he has been placed in a defence with fing Ehmer and Baldwin. The whole club is a joke for the most part. Buy joke players from Widdrington’s database of clown names and get joke results. I reiterate that Barton should have been left alone and Widdrington encouraged to prove that the goals were in this side. Instead we alienated a portion of the fanbase in return for the same hapless defeats Tisdale was presiding over. Wasn’t Clint Hill going to get our defence playing above it’s normal ability? What happened to that?!

Kilgour appears to play better in the centre of a 3 or to the right in a 4.
