Is it too much to hope she could be early-middle-aged, elegant, and... also a duck? Certainly being called names by Ally is a lot more fun than being called names by Mike/Jay/Harry/Degg. Hold on,someone else called a poster a 5 star ***** on another thread,not saying that he was wrong but he didnt get pulled up for it but someone then gets warned for saying something much less offensive to shoveler xiv (or xv or xx ). Is the duck some kind of protected species ? It was actually this thread, and it was Darlo calling the Emperor a *****. I asked him not to. I hope I haven't now misgendered Dave/Darlo/gasgirl too. Life can be confusing, sometimes. I'll repeat it again though, as it's true. Here we ought to disagree about Joey Barton without falling out or name calling. |

You attack one you attack all, just like problem calling out of Corbyn and the unicorn left. Bolstered by a few useful idiots who just want better football results. there’s nothing intellectual about it. His anger management problem hurts people. He bets on matches he is involved in. He supports Corbyn’s eerie and ridiculous political ideas. To support fool as football leader at your club is a call which reflects your own judgement. And it’s fair to say this. I fail to see any relevance between JB’s support for Jeremy Corbyn and his appropriateness for the position of Rovers’ manager. The other factors in his background are what weigh so heavily against him. John McEnroe had anger management issues, but he didn’t hit people. Although I do remember watching a Connors v McEnroe match in which Connors basically intimated that if McEnroe didn’t can it, he was going to cross the net and thump him. John’s self control improved remarkably from that point. |

We're taking a gamble with Barton but so do we with every appointment and right now I'd rather have a successful bad guy than another nice guy failure. All I've seen are people saying they are done with supporting until this lout is gone, or until he and Wael are gone, nobody that I'm aware of has said they are done with Rovers completely. |

I don't think anyone needs an excuse to walk away, and I certainly hope that every last one of us returns as soon as the violent criminal social media celebrity is removed from office. On the former point, here are our last five managers: 5. DC, promoted from within to his first league manager's job. 4. GC, promoted from within to his first league manager's job. 3. BG, recruited externally as a fantasy project, but a failure. 2. PT2, recruited externally but not given time, so unassessed. 1. JB, recruited externally but unfit to manage Rovers. We were better off recruiting assistants and coaches, grooming them into eventual first-team managers, who know the players, the supporters, and the point of being at Bristol Rovers. |
