Fleetwood "we must not lose" matchday thread

Non-existent marking twice already, once from a corner. We're sitting off in midfield as usual.

Let’s face it, we are going to have hope for some luck in the coming matches. I’m not clever enough to know how we get this bunch to play differently but I would hope that the manager would be. I have seen two encouraging performances this season, that suggest this bunch can play better football but I seriously question their desire to do so. 
Football, without fans, feels bereft of the reason it is played but I have played in winning teams, albeit in Rugby and winning gave us all a buzz and we could have played 3 times a week.

This high press combined with playing Hanlan & Daly together is looking good, even though we've only had half changes. Liddle isn't in the game at all. Do we make a change and push for a win by taking him off and bringing on Messi / McCormick?

A good 45 mins for the Gas. Opening 10 mins was a bit iffy... but controlled the game from then on. Good commentary. Much much better.

Yes.  It’s a response.   Fleetwood look poor today, and at 0.0 our defence and keeper has a mistake in them.  
decent pressing.  Decent territory.  Not carved any guilt edged chances.   
main talking point is poor first half from Fleetwood. 

I don’t usually drink unless at a game but I’d take you up on that as I would love a few pints, in the company of fellow gas and after a win 

Imagine if our squad contained... ooh, 5 or 6 strikers? Madness, I know. Let's say one of them was someone like Paddy Madden? Perhaps more of our half-chances would be converted into goals.

Regardless of today's result and indeed the rest of the season, we surely have to focus on attacking recruitment and depth in the summer? We've now had 3 seasons where we barely score more than one goal a game.
