Can Rovers maintain their remarkablle consecutive win record at the Kassam with a seventh victory ??
Law of averages and our current form seems to suggest it will be extremely unlikely that we can plunder another three points.
Will our former goal ace Matty Taylor score against us ...quite probably
We have to stop conceding from set peices to stand any chance of even a point.
Debut for George Williams probably at the expense of Ehmer.Would consider Ogogo gets a start instead of Grant and maybe Hargreaves for Upson. Will Daly be available for the disappointing Ayunga ?
McCormick has impressed recently and Westbrooke can play a vital part because Hanlan has to receive some chances created by our midfielders.
Oxford will be firm favourites.

Oxford have won their last 5 games (Goals for 15, Goals against 3). We've lost our last 4 games. I think this points to a defensive XI and hope to nick a point. Probably only an isolated Hanlan up front (unless Daley rises like Lazarus from the treatment table). No way Ehmer will be dropped. Our Captain and best defender. General odds. Oxford: 4-6, Draw 3-1, Gas 4-1. Not looking forward to this one with any sense of expectation.

Just seen the team. I’m not buying the game. Best we can hope for is a 1-1. Despite 7 defenders/defensive players we will concede, of course. New rb Emher, Kilgour and Leahy. Surely with 2 defensive midfield that’s plenty. Just having more and more defenders, crap.

Ehmer captain and best defender !!...not a captain and our worse defender ...most goals conceded have been Mad Max's fault No leadership fails to take responsibility and poor positioning.Kilgour bails him out time and time again and showed real leadership. Millwall Tone must be laughing his head off replaced by one of the poorest centre backs I have seen in a Rovers shirt. Tillson rumoured to be being brought in as his coaching role at Southampton has been curtailed due to covid etc Tilly to impart his knowledge on Mad Max and co. Baldwin and Harries again leave me wondering about panic summer recruitment. Rollin was far better than both of them. If Matty fails to score today I will donate a fiver to North Bristol food bank.

0-0 would be a point and a reasonable result. Hope new man George can inspire the defense!... COYB!....

5 defenders, 2 defensive midfielders. Leaving Westbrooke & McCormick to try and link with Hanlan. Or just one of the back 7 hoofing it to Hanlan and hope he shrugs of 3 or 4 defenders and scores a worldy. The chances from scoring from open play look remote.

No drugs (ever) and no alcohol since January 4th. Ehmer is a CB playing as an emergency RB, and doing a pretty good job of it (though we can agree to disagree). Kilgour looks much better recently after an awful start to the season. Baldwin and Harries are accidents waiting to happen. I think we can agree on the value of Millwall Tone.

given the stats above, the full busload might need to be parked there Well - we've got to 7 with Ogogo and Grant just in front of the back 5.

Luke Leahy (Bristol Rovers) is shown the yellow card for a bad foul.
