It's our 14th away game under BG surely the law of averages say we must win some time?

I watched Lincoln lose 7-2 to a much-changed Liverpool in the League Cup recently. Despite the trouncing, Lincoln looked very well organised to me and played with a lot of spirit even when losing heavily.
Here's a collection of key words and phrases I've picked out from online BBC Sport reports from Lincoln's four League matches so far. Four of their nine goals have come directly (or in one case indirectly) from penalties. And another four have come from headers.
Lincoln Preview
(H) v Oxford 2-0 new-look … exquisite cross which was nodded home…terrific football…free-kick … was powered home by the head of defender.
(A) v MK Dons 1-2 Penalty…thumping header from cross won it for the Imps with 12 minutes left.
(H) v Charlton 2-0 Charlton were superior in first-half…controversial penalty…saved, but… knocked it across the area… offside… rifled home….Two minutes from time, defender snuck in at the back post to powerfully head home corner.
(A) v Blackpool 2-3 twice battle[d] from behind…cancelled out [Blackpool’s] opener from the penalty spot, scored a second penalty with six minutes left…close range with two minutes remaining…Forest loanee…impressive.

Nailed on 8-2 victory then. Anything less and even someone with Garner's quite incredible lack of self awareness would surely have to fall on his sword.

Rodman still not fit. Ogogo has been told no future. Ogg. he’s a checkered injury history even before the no feeling in his leg issue this year. Could that be part of the non contract assessment? He’s not someone you would give an expensive squad contract to, it would be a playing contract. barrel. Just as interesting, where’s barrel? When not injured he still wasn’t getting picked due to his approach to fitness and training. Is he really injured or is that chaff? If fit to play where will Garner use him? Are the heiarchy wondering why they signed him, can fans ask was there due diligence? Don’t get me wrong, I liked what I saw, I want him fit, I want him out there, and I want him on the ball. He could be our Jan Molby.

If we perform well enough to have earned the draw but not got it I will view that as prophetically significant.

Lincoln had a good side. I was there, but I'm struggling to square my memory of the ground that day with how it looks now.

We have played Lincoln City 43 times, winning 18 times, losing 14 times and 9 were drawn.
We have won our last 3 games against them, our biggest win was 3-5 & loss was 4-0.

Early 2000's, Lincoln away, popped into a local pub by the ground before kickoff, around fifty in the pub, stepped up to the bar and ordered three pints of Cider, the place fell silent and nobody moved, an oldish guy rose slowly from his chair, pointed at us and said ' Right, were going to give you five seconds to get out of this pub, it's your lucky day, because that's five seconds longer than your lot gave us when we visited!. I think we must have upset them in the Vic.

I don't think we laboured to win, we were on top for practically the whole game, wore them down and could have won 5-0

He's a decent manager at this level, can't stand him, but no surprise they have started well, but Hull came unstuck last night. I do think we don't believe we're allowed to win games we shouldn't though, unlike under Coughlan.
