new signings gives us a fair few options and gives us experience at the back, legs in midfield and pace up front...feel quite optimistic, shame we won't get to see much of it... does it in a strange way give ben too many options though?

Both Aldi and Lidl do good quality gel, but it seems we are now moving on to Waitrose, apparently better quality there 🤗 there’s no better dishwasher tablet than magnum. It wins control of the machine for the cleaning agents to do their business, without that control doesn’t matter how good the cleaning agents.

Best new signing would be JCH... All the optimism would be gone if he leaves

Bloody hell, with all this exciting news coming out of the club we'll soon have nothing to moan about. It is true, my contributions have become less frequent... We've now had 2 months of relentlessly positive news. (June 4th - announcement of work commencing at the Training Facility). It's been difficult to cope. I'm quietly optimistic. UTG.

So far: ... Sercs to Cheltenham ....Craig to Crawley ....Matthews to Crawley ....Reilly to Carlisle’ ....Ollie C to Mansfield ....Rollin to Mansfield ....Russe to Chippenham Nichols and THD yet to find clubs. Have I missed anyone that was first team regular? Thanks to all those players for their time with us but it looks like no one in League 1 was knocking at our door with offers for them. Apart from Craig who’s had a great career and is winding down. And perhaps Sercs who’s surprised me by going into League 2, we look as if we did pretty well to get mid table finishes with some of those. But perhaps that’s a bit harsh. But after that awful summer 2018 recruitment I think we are fortunate to be still in League 1. Thanks to GC for that if we are honest I guess. Our recruitment this summer appears to be several steps above what we’ve been used to and certainly the best since we got back in the league. So as many on here I’m a bit optimistic but tbh I usually am! I find I have to be.😀
UTG!

So to keep the pattern of 2 per club will we see Bennett to Cheltenham Nicholls to Chippenham?

So to keep the pattern of 2 per club will we see Bennett to Cheltenham Nicholls to Chippenham? That high? 😉 Seriously, I always rated TN and thought him and us were a good mix. And from what I’ve seen JCH always did better when TN in the side. But it clearly didn’t work out and that was sad. But it’s football and we both move on. UTG!

How do you know we have upgraded or added technical quality? I have no memory of any of the players actually playing myself. I'm surmising. Baldwin/Ehmer for Meyonaisse/Craig. Don't think Craig or Rollin would get in Sunderland or Gillingham captain's place. Really don't think Ollie or Sercombe could secure a place in any championship football team, so Zain takes his shirt but is probably more sercombe-like. Nicholson could have moved to Scottish Premiership. Both appear to have higher technical abilities. Nichols and Reilly are proven regular non goalscorers in league football. As hard working as they may be, as much heart as they may have, they both don't regularly score. Jonah is unproven too. I know whom I'd rather try next season. I suppose the main benchmark is I can't see any posts particularly complaining of the players released compared to their relative replacements? Most seem content with outgoings. Most seem more content with the incomings. Lets hope your right. Baldwin was released by sunderland at the end of the season and was on loan at salford last season. Westbrooke was told he was free to find another club by manager mark robbins after playing in their promotion team. Nothing wrong with that but we should wait and see how they perform before we suggest they are better than the departed in my view.

I think our new signings can play and as a team can challenge.
Over to Ben and that's the big question mark.

Both have come from division rivals, all our outgoings have dropped at least one division.

Striker Jordy Hiwula has signed for an as yet unnamed club.Apparently more information to come. This from Coventry City I think.
Edit. He's former Sky Blues,so free agent I take it.
Looks a decent player.

Apparently we're possibly still in the running to sign Jordy Hiwula. Would be a good signing imo.

A new striker to replace JCH,before our first game proper, would be a boost to squad and Gasheads.
