New signings so far are on paper improvements or upgrades of what we've released.
We haven't added numbers, we've added technical quality.
It will be up to the management and coaching team to get the most out of them and working together, but apart from new additions or losses, the most important announcement in near future will be choice of captain.

I guess we shall if those players will play for Bennie G. As a fan, I saw a team that looked like they didn’t take to the guy but he now has his own signings and I’m hoping they play to their potential or even overachieve

I really liked JML, his work rate, application and attitude was spot on for me. Comfortable on the ball, tricky and seemed to enjoy his time with us, hope we can get him back for another spell.

How do you know we have upgraded or added technical quality? I have no memory of any of the players actually playing myself.

Don't think Craig or Rollin would get in Sunderland or Gillingham captain's place. Really don't think Ollie or Sercombe could secure a place in any championship football team, so Zain takes his shirt but is probably more sercombe-like. Nicholson could have moved to Scottish Premiership. Both appear to have higher technical abilities. Nichols and Reilly are proven regular non goalscorers in league football. As hard working as they may be, as much heart as they may have, they both don't regularly score. Jonah is unproven too. I know whom I'd rather try next season. I suppose the main benchmark is I can't see any posts particularly complaining of the players released compared to their relative replacements? Most seem content with outgoings. Most seem more content with the incomings.

Massive changes in personnel and none of the new guys appear to have been put off by our dreadful stadium and tented stands. Not sure where Bennet fits into all this but the positivity should surely inspire him to do better.Still short up front but optimism abounds.Great to have Bunny Hare back in contention but sad Davies still seems a long way off. We don't have any long serving players now Ollie has gone but I think he reached his level and wouldn't have taken us forward. So much to think about in amongst all the Covid problems but Hey,things are optimistic and despite his dreadful record BG has my full backing.

Both Aldi and Lidl do good quality gel, but it seems we are now moving on to Waitrose, apparently better quality there 🤗
