Another tough test away to a Joey Barton team that'll set themselves up difficult to beat.
But so will we. 0-0 draw anyone?!
What a long journey for holiday fixture! Safe journey everyone, UptheGas and COME ON YOU BLUES!!!

We need to be a tower of strength today, make the plaice rock and not descend into a black pool of derision. Funny you should mention dark puddle of pessimism, so almost a thousand gas are going up there, is it a night or two in Blackpool part of the holiday equation? Sounds great, wish I thought of that now. Better than cold Turkey. I expected unchanged team and tactics for the first game, but with so many games in so few days, Ben’s going to have to make some changes and show his hand. I’m happy with mid table. I don’t think we are in a promotion race. With our heart wired to our brain we looked at our flimsy squad back in August, where the more talented on paper often send a sick note and don’t make it on the grass, and untried strikers as back up, and feared the other end of table at Christmas. Be honest didn’t we? So the second half of the season, securing safety makes every game a free hit no pressure safely mid table obscurity, can be fun IMO. let the Ipswich’s, Portsmouth, Sunderland’s feel the pressure of trying to get up. Instead sit back and watch Ben’s brand of football emerge. title charges and promotion pushes are all about squads and teams being set up for run ins anyway. Final positions pressure at both ends of table all about run ins. This time last year Muff didn’t think they’d be in league 2 this year did they? bottom line, we don’t have squad for anything other than mid table, a few key sick notes and it can quickly look even more laboured and pressure ridden out there on the grass. Phenomenal if we're taking nearly 1000 up there. We've had unexpected success at Rochdale, Shrewsbury, Lincoln (when they were good) and Ipswich... who knows. Maybe a little less pressure these days away from the Mem? I'll go for 2-1 to the Gas.

For the first time in a long time I am not looking forward to watching todays game in the cyber world, I do not have the stomach for a second defeat in a week after the run we've had.
Today I have read that we will be cheered on by nearly 1000 travelling supporters, truly, truly credulous, I hope they can inspire a better performance than last time out!...I fear today the pidgeon's will come home to roost and reckon on a 3-0 defeat wherapon my disapointment will turn to anger, I need a beer.... PLEASE PLEASE COYB!...

Fish like the long diagonal balls and crosses. Our wing backs will be stretched, back 3 likely to be busy
Kb says 'mayonnaise' like me :-)

Looks very much like 5-4-1 (maybe 5-3-1-1 with Sercs in behind JCH). Looking solid enough. Nice to be playing with a full starting XI with Nichols dropped.

2 yellows apiece
Fish playing a press at the back. Rovers trying to pass thru without success, so jch a bit isolated
Fish getting crosses in. Back 3 busy, especially mayo
Overall 0-0 fair. Not much goalmouth action, but I enjoying the game. Tight and competitive
Space should open up 2nd half. Rovers need more midfield possession to dominate. Might happen as the press gets tired

Will be very happy to come away with a draw after watching first half. Kilgour doing well again defensively but Fleetwood should’ve scored early on from Madden. Johnson starved of any decent chances. Ogogo will have to be careful not to get second yellow
