I would mail Clare and/or TG with your feedback asap.
I think the club can be very approachable and in dealing with constructive criticism, will do everything to help.
The last thing they want is to rob you. Quite the opposite.
That's my personal experience anyway.

I agree the UI is hopeless and they should really have a responsive design that suits mobile screens and tablets - same is true of online club shop. Very easy to develop for mobiles these days - it’s just a lack of investment
I would add though that I’ve bought most of my tickets on an iPhone with no issues so it’s not likely that it’s the device that’s the problem in your case IMO

The last thing they want is to rob you. Quite the opposite. That's my personal experience anyway. Yes. I agree completely. I had to leave getting my Pompey ticket very late because you’ve got to phone for away tickets and I’d been away in Oz. So day I got back I phoned up and left a message because they were busy. I phoned 5 mins later and got my ticket. 5 minutes after that Clare answered my message and got back to me to do the ticket. I explained I had been dealt with. It left me with a good impression of the way tickets are handled. Everyone did what they said and I got my ticket. I always get a great service from the helpful staff. Incidentally, doing the same thing at AFC Bournemouth leaves me frustrated because staff don’t always get back to you and it always seems hard. And trying to order tickets online is just as hard that I’ve given up doing that now. And that’s a PL club with more resources, it’s not as good. I know this isn’t the same issue that Greg was complaining about but you are right o2 the office staff are so helpful that I’m sure they would do their best to resolve it. Credit where credits due imo. UTG!

Rovers' online tickets and shop are both poor. All of my online transactions have gone wrong. All of my face-to-face service has gone right. It's a sod if you can't get to the shop.

The thing about this is that it's consistent with everything Gorringe has touched.
I know I go on and on about this, but he just doesn't get stuff right.
Before anybody wades in to defend the bloke, I'll produce Exhibit 1. Mintbet.
But it's important I think also to understand that Clare and Kay aren't responsible for ticket systems. They have probably had zero training and, with all due respect to them both, I suspect that neither know what an App or a Cookie is.

So one bloke, admittedly one too many, out of the many thousand who have purchased a ticket using the system just fine and we are imploding and it’s all TGs fault?
Perhaps there was an issue at the other end considering it didn’t work on either desktop or mobile?
I’ve used the system twice this year to purchase tickets for visiting friends/family and had no issues. It’s a bit of a small sample to start getting the big stick out to beat people with again!

Well Shoveller, you've kept this idiot (i.e me ) happy for the last five minutes. I assumed your post was a poem and have been searching for alliterations, meters and rhyming schemes but can't find any. For God's sake don't now tell me this was a poem!

Oh, what happened to the OP? Been deleted?
One point he mentioned has happened to me at least twice in the past: the original call handler transferring me to an engaged line.
Absolute basic customer service fail. It's as if they can't wait to get rid of your call. Basics to check the person you need to speak to is available first before transferring, and if not give you the option of leaving a message.
On one occasion I had to phone back for a second time and started to say: - "Hi, I phoned a minute ago, and you were transferring me through …" - "Okay, I'll just ..." - "Stop! Hang on! There is no one answering."
It's not just Rovers though. One of the worst online shopping experiences I had was with a sports group from the deep south of the city. Go easy on me, it was several items of Bristol Rugby merchandise I was ordering - nothing else, I can assure you.

Tried to delete this.
Kay at the shop was really helpful. Don’t think much of the tech but to be fair she sorted it all out

This is it. Perfectly helpful staff serve us in the shop. But BRFC online retail ops really are chaotic. I'm glad we didn't persevere online this week. We would not have had valid tickets for today. Luckily we were able to talk to the shop staff. They explained it all, and we bought tickets. Luckily we got to watch Rovers thoroughly beat.

I wish there was some feedback regarding the op?
Otherwise it would be disappointing to start a thread openly criticising the club, then not redressing with equal gusto if they rectified the situation..

That duck's been playing around with his own take on iambic pentameter again... quite literally mocking the literary conventions.

It's been over a week and nothing of a redressing of the situation the op started with this thread! O p has gone very quiet on this.
So, I take that to mean it's fine and dandy to be critical to the point of slaughtering the club and/or personnel within it, but not say anything positive or constructive to counterbalance this makes it appear completely unfair.
Poor o p post which has been deleted.

Afternoon O2o2bo2bo2baba, Isn't this it: Kay at the shop was really helpful. Don’t think much of the tech but to be fair she sorted it all out. This concurs with my BRFC ticket and merchandise retail experiences. Hopeless online, but dead helpful face to face. The BRFC shop ladies are always a pleasure to deal with in the 'Superstore', but things keep going wrong with Rovers' efforts online.

Thanks to the ducky boys for concluding business.

If you want some sort of grovel you can stick it up your ass Na none of the a$$ business unless you want to. I credit everyone with more intelligent behaviour than grovel. Just see it as a dig at our club in big threads which get attention, yet the positive or constructive redressing with not the same dedication. Well done you.

How excited do you expect us to get about having the ticket system that works? This is a very poor tactic, take a problem and attempt to portray the person causing the difficulty as the victim. Sorry but it's old, tired and is about as credible as pretending that a bloke who comes on here threatening violence is actually himself being bullied because his forum persona is mocked.

I don't expect anyone to be excited or not excited about a working ticket system. It does work, generally, and most supporters approve. TG has cut out ticketing fraud and brought us in line with most clubs above us. Something most choose to ignore.. And there's nothing wrong with criticism of a problem, that's the whole idea of forums. But, when a problem is rectified, I was waiting for a similar amount of lines in response addressing the situation, but what the the op has done is fine. No problems..
