Agreed. Still it's better than rattling on about politics on a football forum.

Already signed up with the finance company few weeks back. Not good. I think you are OK if you've got a live deal with them. They are saying that if you have any questions you should contact your club in the first instance, but they go on to say; People with auto renewals will not have their agreement renewed so will need to make alternative arrangements. This has affected LOTS of clubs, hopefully a new service provider will jump in and plug the gap very soon. Cheers Bamber.

Extending by 1 week, mid-month, so not going across a pay day, won't help anybody who was relying on the payment plan option.
Looking at what's written, you could be forgiven for thinking that they read this forum!

I bought some tickets this morning. The staff who helped me with one aspect were, as usual, excellent. Much appreciated

Indeed. Had to go in the shop to sort out my dads ST. issue with multiple email address. sorted with no fuss This is always my experience. Website wrong. Online booking wrong. Online shopping wrong. Drive to the Mem, discuss with one of the women behind the counter, literally always right. But I can only do this from Yate; it's just not practical from Hertfordshire. BRFC have yet to master the internet. But BRFC have yet to abandon the employment of lovely helpful face-to-face staff. May they never be cut.

Yea, but he knows how to pay advertising agencies a small fortune to produce neat videos. I see that other clubs have found a replacement provider to plug the gap left by Zebra finance. Can't see anything on the official site yet, so here you go Gorringe, I'll do your job for you, give Villa a call, they have it sorted.

Clare confirmed that anyone who had an agreement for 19/20 with Zebra, which was agreed before they went bust, would have that agreement honoured.

Clare confirmed that anyone who had an agreement for 19/20 with Zebra, which was agreed before they went bust, would have that agreement honoured. Yes, it says that on the Zebra website. I'm not sure that they've 'gone bust', I get the impression that they have struggled to raise sufficient finance to meet demand, so are still trading but not accepting new business at present. That leaves people with applications to Zebra that had not been processed and agreed by, I think the date was March 25th, or anybody who was intending to use a payment plan option with no opportunity to do so. But the good news is that some clubs have got it sorted now. We know that this forum is monitored and some of what is written gets back to the FC, so with a bit of luck the news that Villa have found a replacement service provider will be with Tom shortly.

I've not seen the Zebra site and was just sharing the helpful (as always) updates from the staff at BRFC.

Am I missing something here? Is there something glaringly obvious that has escaped me? Why is the deadline for buying season tickets the end of May?? www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2019/may/season-ticket-general-sale/I remember there was a lot of discussion last year about an early deadline. That was the first year of season cards, so although it wasn't ideal you could understand wanting to get the cards ordered, produced, sent out, and the new system tested. But this year the majority of cards will have been updated from renewals. Will it really take two and a half months to organise new cards? Doesn't take that long to get a credit card. And store cards are ready to go as soon as you sign up for one. Surely they should have a supply of cards printed that they just have load up with the card holders details. Even then, if they order new ones - two and a half months?? Could be missing out on potential sales.

I asked the same thing a few weeks back, the only reply I remember getting was that some other clubs were doing the same thing. So that's that sorted then. Utterly ridiculous, they set a deadline for buying next season's season ticket which was before this season had ended. Anyway, no time to mess about on here, I have to choose where I'll be watching from next season, now, where's that stadium ticket map, .

I thought the previous conversations were about the deadline for renewals for existing season tickets holders (which was extended, slightly), rather than this being the deadline for general sales - any further season ticket sales to any potential new season ticket holders.

Ah, sorry, I stand corrected, hadn't looked at the link as I hadn't for one second thought that even Gorringe would be mad enough to suggest shutting down season ticket sales at the end of May. Thanks for the info. Either Tom has lost his marbles, or we are broke and desperate to get any money that we can in, that's my reading of it anyway. Edit. So, they say that the deadline is in a week and they still haven't organised a finance option. Why? Other clubs who used to offer the service supplied by Zebra have managed to get organised with an alternative supplier. Just what people need, no finance option and pressure to pay in full 3 weeks after the last season ended. Brilliant, well done Rovers.

So one bloke, admittedly one too many, out of the many thousand who have purchased a ticket using the system just fine and we are imploding and it’s all TGs fault? Perhaps there was an issue at the other end considering it didn’t work on either desktop or mobile? I’ve used the system twice this year to purchase tickets for visiting friends/family and had no issues. It’s a bit of a small sample to start getting the big stick out to beat people with again! I have used it for Cat A games and never had a problem. Tickets have arrived next day, if bought in the morning, they have arrived 2 days if bought in the afternoon. I don’t know what others have experienced but my experience has been good though I find it annoying they have a charge for this. I am fine with postage but not the charge.
