Kid in a Riot,on otib, predicted Sainsbury wanted out of the deal just the other day. Seems he is right again. LMFAO, seriously? Did he also predict the lottery numbers too?

Your sarcasm is even less helpful. This City fans record is very good, nearly always right and in the event of us not getting anything from Box 1 and when considering their record KIAR seems worth checking out.

How is this reporter so special? How has he got information from the club when they are not allowed to talk to anyone else. They have not named their source. Hopefully this is guess work. Daniel, back in the day we had local sports reporters working for the Bristol Evening Post and the Western Daily Press who were constantly working with the local clubs to bring exclusives to the fans. It was a fine line to tread at times though because if they upset the club too much they might be cutting off their line of communication. The days of the BEP or WDP providing us with anything insightful have long since gone and we certainly no longer get an opinion criticising the clubs. However the Sunday Independent is the last bastion for this old world and the local sports jounalists (proper journalists who actually try to sniff out a story when everyone wants to keep schtum) are the people who used to work for the Bristol press and what happens to the two football clubs are matters that they are personally interested in hence we get more chance of hearing some real news! I had hoped that Geoff Twentyman on Radio Bristol would have been a breath of fresh air in this respect, seeking answers from people who he obviously knows well enough to talk to. However he showed how utterly useless and lazy he was when the story of the MP's letter broke and he didn't bother to try and ilicit a response from Higgs despite the regional importance. In fact his show that in the hands of his predecessor Ben Prater had an informative and interesting news agenda is now nothing more than a game show called Geoff's quest.

Of course you would. No disrespect, but after all the negative posts about the board, you are hardly going to come out and say no I'll leave it till we get some official news. It's that "band wagon" yet again that quite often comes through here... After the recent years of failure, the whole UWE project falling apart would be consistent with the Boards record. Would'nt it. Can you explain to me in simple terms why its the BoD fault when SAINSBURY want to pull out ?

But if you look at otib regularly as I do, you would know the said poster has form for posting on the old forum (in various guises) (he has quite a few user names) for winding up Rovers fans(seems he still has the skills...) Did you get the lottery numbers for Wednesday? After all, this wonder kid seems to have magic skills... LMFAO!

I couldn't give a flying f*** whos fault it is anymore. It's all about delivering the UWE,their last chance as far as i'm concerned. Others wanted ago,Box 1 have refused them and so they must deliver. Enough is enough.

If Rovers lawyers say the deal is watertight, and they are wrong, that is not Rovers fault, or indeed NH, that is the lawyers who are wrong, and we could then lodge a claim with the Law Society. Still, it's better to have another go at NH isn't it. He's got many things wrong, but in this regard you have to accept what you're legal team say, as he is no more a lawyer than most of us. I don't think any legal agreements are 'watertight' - that's the sort of phrase used for soundbites rather than legal analysis is my guess. What's more likely is that the agreement is deemed to be enforceable by the parties concerned - or additional parties (eg a court) should a dispute arise if it turns out that it is not enforceable/there is enough wriggle room for Sainsbury's not to follow through with the purchase, and Rovers' lawyers were instructed to provide such, or otherwise suggested to Rovers that it was enforceable, then Rovers could think about making a claim against their lawyers for professional negligence or breach of contract/fiduciary duty Rovers' lawyers would then, I think, put their professional indemnity insurers on notice of a 'circumstance', and then prescribed protocols would be followed I think that the expectation of NH would be that he would instruct lawyers with relevant experience - and I'd be very surprised if he hasn't done. If things have gone a bit wobbly, he might put another firm on notice to review the work done by the existing lawyers, with a view to asking them to lead a future claim against them. But I'd guess that that is somewhere ahead of where things might be at the moment if I were Sainsburys, and I'd changed my mind, I'd probably be asking my lawyer to take a very close look at the contracts, and possibly comment as to future options available - one of which might be to 'buy their way out of it', depending on price Oooh That sounds very much like the truth and reality

This City fan has a better record than some of Box 1 for telling us what will happen. Sorry if this disappoints,it disappoints me,but there you go

Can you explain to me in simple terms why its the BoD fault when SAINSBURY want to pull out ? They do? I thought you had stated, based upon some inside knowledge, that it was all good news and that the speculation that this was in fact the case was just from people with an "agenda"?

Geoff Dunford has not offered his God like reassurance that all is well with the UWE project yet.

I'm happy enough to 'chat' with all,as long as I don't receive a childish kind of 'why' response to every point.
