I understand that staff and players have been notified that plans are afoot. "Darrell, plans are afoot" "A foot?" "Yeah, as in being prepared" "A foot is being prepared for what?"

A week left of October. Any genuine news? No. Wrong again Doc. As I understand it, we are getting a foot. Don’t underestimate how handy that could prove to be, say, added to top of one of the defenders, or stuck to Nichols gonads providing exciting option if his other two feet are misfiring. Not many clubs in the EFL have a Waq Shack AND a star striker with a foot sellotaped to his balls. All part of a sequence of changes proving a lie to anyone claiming this club isn’t transforming in a special way.

No doubt procurement will require several levels of management, all with well gelled hair and suits that don't quite fit. Any questions relating to Wael's ability to deliver the foot will be dismissed rudely with claims that his team have assisted with some of the biggest and best feet in the history of the world, ever, so unless you personally have built a super-foot you can just shut your mouth. The manager will be promised the foot. Then there will be 2 years of silence.

Hi Epping I have had no update in October. So I am in the dark, like everyone else it seems. My source is not someone I chat to every day, but is in the inner circle. I understand that staff and players have been notified that plans are afoot. Waiting patiently. Bristol Rovers 0, zero, zilch... The only sticking point appears to be who gets to keep the new Family Stand. It's rumoured to be featured on the new series of Grand Designs.

But fear not, I'm sure the whole Al Qadi family can live out the winter in Santas Grotto, located on site, while they complete the build.

Celebrated west country residents Kevin McCloud, Noel Edmonds and Jacob Rees-Mogg are leading the consortium. You heard it here first.

And if you'd gone to Eton, you might have viewed it as better to write 'misogynist' in that context we shouldn't have classist and religionist drivel on here, should we?

And if you'd gone to Eton, you might have viewed it as better to write 'misogynist' in that context we shouldn't have classist and religionist drivel on here, should we? Well, had catholic come before misogynist I think you would be correct. I think that misogynistic to describe personality is correct, but it's not important. Why would you want to defend someone who openly attaches themselves to an institution that is responsible for hiding child rapists all over the globe and seems to believe that whilst aids may be bad, condoms are somehow worse? Utterly insane and has no place in any civilised society. That's before we even start on his views on same sex relationships. Highly intelligent, brilliant orator, but more than a little muddled and out of step with society in his thinking.
