No team sheets yet
They are 9th on 28 points, we are 15th on 24 points. It's the sort of game that we've got to hope to win at Fortress Mem. Can we make it two on the bounce?
They've got Josh Wright, who I think is the brother of the bloke off TOWIE, and Demetriou and Cox who used to play for the O's (as, if memory serves, did Wright)
I think their manager is Phil Brown, a dour Scottish bloke, albeit one with a track record
Adam Barrett played for them for 100 years after leaving us, and became an unrecognisably better player there too. I think maybe Anwar Uddin went there too. Matty Harrold came to us after playing for them, and celebrated his nuts off when he scored against them at their place
So an unusually fact-free start to the match thread this week....

Phil Brown, Scottish? Fact-free, indeed.

Phil Brown, Scottish? Fact-free, indeed. is he not? I thought I remembered him on the radio, driving away from Roots Hall one time. Maybe that was another one. 'Fake news' - sorry!

The Scottish one was Paul Sturrock. I think Phil Brown comes from the north east, although you'd never know that with his tan!
One change, Gaffers comes in for someone!
Pitch looks relatively green and it's not too cold here.

Ollie dropped!
Hate to say it, about time.....especially if Gaff can do the business as he starts.
Looking a bit like 4-3-3.
Looking a bit like a home win 2-1.
Looking a bit like 8149.
Looking a bit like Xmas!
COME ON YOU BLUES!

Unrecognisable from the disorganised mess of a couple of weeks back.
Ellis was superb, again.
Everybody worked their socks off.
No need for any kind of match report, the stats tell you everything you need to know,
Rovers 23 attempts, 11 on target.
Sarfend, even with their left back Hendrie and his quite ridiculous fake tan, 3 attempts, 0 on target.

We were great today, that's as easy a home win as you'll ever see. Harrison and Bodin were the best two players on the pitch, but I thought everyone played well. Lockyer tormenting Ranger at the end was worth turning up for by itself
