That interview was a total embarrassment, i can't believe it was allowed to go out. How the f*** can you say with a straight face that the toilets and bars are going to get refurbished when there supposed to be getting knocked down for the new stadium!!! Please Wael you and your family don't need the hassle of owning the club any more, we are a tinpot league 1 club in desperate need of multi million pound investment, the last thing we are is anything you could ever add to a portfolio. Do the decent thing and sell up, it's painful watching you and your family keep the club on a life support machine.

The ones about the training ground that turned out to be true or a different one? I'm still cringing - I feel embarrassed on his behalf. Amazing.

I’m not even one bit sorry for saying this but he can go to the bar, mix with fans and All but if he has no say in financial matters then it doesn’t really matter what he says. I’ve no doubt his intentions are good but as the saying goes, the pathway to hell is paved with good intent. I’ve now done a full 180 and don’t trust a word, not that Hani does say anything, that comes from any of them. Fact is the owners are now not prepared to finance the club and are getting an increasingly bad reputation with many. one would think that a banking family would understand the concept of speculate to accumulate but I feel they are just biding their time before they sell our only asset & i would ask them to sell to someone who truly has the clubs interest at its core. Dwane is a very convenient way to do as they want & not have to answer anything & this has been their fall back position. Dwane are one and the same people but with no accountability. Our supporters need to act. Sorry if this upsets some but the last few weeks have just done it for me.

Too many inconsistencies & obviously thinks we are an easy audience to play too. For me it was the sprinklers that did it. They knew long before the leak that they were not going ahead with UWE and yet the feasibility study came back favourably.

In conclusion ,nothing has moved forward. No plan B was worked on during the wasted 18 months UWE debacle and the only plans for the Mem is a new club shop and toilets.Heart breaking stuff.'It takes time' .We were told years ago to be patient when the previous re-developement fell through and we had to play at Cheltenham for two years.Lovely man but as a club we are stagnant. Not impressed at all. How long will our tents be viable? Think the other Bristol club have even more cause to ridicule us now.Wouldn't blame DC if he went.As a club we have no ambition it seems. If only Wael said,'We too would desperately love a proper stadium'.New toilets and a shop won't really pave the way for the Championship however un-likely that might seem right now.

How many times can the line it’s going to take time be used and believed ? It’s just a delaying line in the hope that it’s enough to placate us. Meanwhile the team south of tbevriver are getting time to steal even more of that time to make significant strides ahead of us. You can only bluff so many times.

On the positive side, they are currenntly underwriting the annual loss, up to the point where the total loss exceeds the charge on the Mem no doubt. Unless they can increase the capacity at the Mem and find other ways of making money from the club other than the football the club is unsubstainable in the way they describe.

The talk of a project for the training facilities but then only doing it in stages is not a cost effective way of developing anything as costs go up. It just goes to prove they don’t want to, or cannot, invest in what is needed. So that definitely means no new or redeveloped stadium. We will have to content ourselves with the nice toilets and new club shop..... Lost respect and support for the owners now. Actions speak louder than words.

Higgs Higgs Higgs what about Higgs ? Wonga, would you rather have the last lot back ? thought that I would get that in before someone else today.
I am starting to believe Wael though,it really is going to take a long time just as he said.
Got to say that I have rarely seen anyone so out of their depth as Wael in his last couple of interviews, horrible viewing, that giggle is he cracking up ? I thought that I had seen Rovers worst time in the Conference but I have a bad feeling about what the future might bring.

Well, we do t sell the mem out so that won’t bring them in, not on a regular basis. Football is a game of results, when we got promotion I saw many from Kingswood who had not been in around 15 years at least or longer. The 82 are getting a lot of business down there now. Even the Sanigars, who are gas, have the boxing under the old Dolman stand, is it still called the Dolman ? only success on the pitch will bring in more, on the football side. Meanwhile they are getting more go down to them

I went through Steve "Crazy Gang" Hamer's last interview with 20man in detail. There is no need to do the same for this attempt at "fronting up". Wael looked uncomfortable throughout and avoided answering any questions. How many times did he say "these things take time"? I was going to re-run it and count - but to be honest - life is just too short. Hold the front page though - we might move the Club shop and might apply a lick of paint in the bogs and bars. 21 months on. This is stagnation, not evolution.

Westcountry Gas. Please let us know how you think Ellis has played this season? It would seem from most comments I have read, and games that I have attended, that Ellis is Player of the Season (so far). By a country mile. I seem to recall you doubting his ability. Would you care to give us an update?

Doesn't sound good just a paint job here and there and steam cleaning the bogs. On my way back from the gas going back to portishead will pass trashton in about 2 minutes. Let's hope the f**kers are losing U.T.G.

To get back on topic, the news is there is no news!
Waels worst show so far. No pr can get him out of this one, even Keith was gentle with him (leading him with "you're not in the country much..(?)"), but ultimately he had very little to say, no real news to divulge, and after his last public interview in August, to wait til December to try to allay fans fears by media....well I'll leave you all to judge whether that's good or satisfaction enough?
We are all being deceived.
It's a grand deception and from very early on I didn't buy it (no pun intended).
There will be twists and turns to come, just don't get carried away one way or another.

Absolute respect to Darrell and the players for getting three points today against the backdrop of the owners trying to work out an exit strategy. I wish they’d just f**k off asap. We have been taken for mugs.

FFP? We don't even have that in L1 Wael. It's called SCMP.
And anyway, you can't hide behind that because of this,
Stop taking us for idiots Wael.

For big matches we could easy sell close to 20,000, but there is nowhere to put them and the club loses revenue of lets say 10,000 x £20 = £200,000. (easy number used for easy maths). I don't see any way you can run a club like ours in the current stadium without incurring massive annual losses.

Well I would like to go back to square one!
Scenario...
You are interested in buying a football club whether as a serious business investment or a 'plaything' given alleged family wealth
BRFC seems to fit...owner desperate to get out balanced by a passionate fan base ... a sleeping giant in football terms
There is deal for a new stadium on the table
So what would even the average fan considered before purchase?
Is the UWE deal viable and on the terms required by the purchaser at the outset? Surely establising whether freehold or leasehold was paramount...
If UWE deal fails is the club worth purchasing with or without expansion?
What is the plan B or even C?
You are a banking family but appear to have bought club on a whim with very little creditable business case planning
It was a purchase lacking in forethought and now looking more irrational as each week passes by
January will see the departure of both Billy Bodin and D C UNLESS the board change their stance and approach
