And another thing people saying we are not ready for the championship just yet this could be the closest we will ever get for the next 20 years or so who knows. That is a valid point. The momentum of successive promotions is now behind us and we go again. It is ALL about the summer now. If we go into it with the basically the same squad then I think you are right. Then again, our historic level has been played mostly in the 3rd tier. Mr Al Qadi, let's be having you please. This evolution stuff will be fine once it's up and running and producing but in the meantime we will need your help and investment. Maybe a little revolution this summer please. |

revolution would 1) be risking someone else's money and 2) risk what has been done to date. Successful cultures take a long time to take root. We're on the cusp of having that, as long as we stick with evolution
the speed of change thus far has been, I think, very acceptable
the new stadium announcement would be very very welcome now though. And about the same level of player churn as we've had to date

Fair enough and it's what a forum is for but I feel our crowd will start to get antsy & we will maybe start to get the crap that a certain Paul Trollope got. If DC knows the youth players well then he is the one, alongside his assistants and confidantes, who will know if we have any that can produce at this level. My own view is that if there is no good news on the ground then it could have a detrimental affect upon those already here & those we may try to coax here. In a two team city, you cannot allow the others to get an even bigger grip and, let's face facts, they are many miles ahead of us on almost everything accept a manager. |
