FT. 4-2.
And that's definitely that.
Well in another world you might be forgiven for feeling ultra frustrated that results went pretty much as we wanted elsewhere!
But, in all honesty we've had a fabulous season.
I personally have had a brilliant 9months. We've all seen some wonderful team and individual performances.....and awful ones too!
I can't complain. I wanted my rovers back by playing 3rd division football and holding their own. I've got it. Thankyou to dc and all the backroom and management for that.
So we move on to High Noon next Sunday. We shouldn't be scared of anything, we can beat anyone on our day, albeit today wasn't one of ours.
Keep smiling, always UptheGas!

How sickening the results around us are! What a shame! Still, we'll win the league next season and might even get a Blackpool weekend out of it too!

Looks like whoever decided to let Harrison and not bodin take the penalty to make it 1-1 may have cost us a chance of making the playoffs cannot believe crass decisions like this are still being made this late in the season.

Started watching Rovers 50 years ago when they were pushing for promotion to the second division and blew it in 1966/7 ..they had a real chance to make the play offs this season. But defeats at Bury and Coventry City really blew our chances. So league one football again...a few seasons of success in 50 years but regretfully no championship football in 2017. Very disappointed to be honest.
Hope we can hang on to DC and Bodin. We need to recruit two experienced strikers and try and get Lumley on loan again.

Best stick that champagne for playing vs us back on the shelf then. Shouldn't you be on the City sites saying that you had trust in Squeaky and the Tax Dodger all along and the only boycott you know about is a wizened old bigot from Yorkshire? Tit.

Let's put the decision on the penalty taker another way how many gasheads were confident Harrison would score !

Best stick that champagne for playing vs us back on the shelf then. Well done, hundreds of millions of pounds blown to be able to compete on an even par with Burton Albion. You must be so proud. You may as well go and try to wind someone else up you sad little man, we are all very happy with our lot in life and don't suffer from delusions of grandeur. BTW, nobody on our side of town would celebrate playing your fabricated team with no history and having to tolerate the violent thugs that crawl out of the south Bristol slums every time we meet, in fact, I would be happiest of all if our paths never crossed again.

Best stick that champagne for playing vs us back on the shelf then. You had to wait until the 44th/45th game of the season to put that without redress. Also, without knowing which division you were referring to. Says it all about what a woeful season you have endured, and what a great season we have enjoyed. Shameful post.

Really not that disapointed as whilst as a fan you also want more, realistically the club isn't ready to play at that level yet imo. Wouldn't have enjoyed watching us get beat most weeks and struggling at the wrong end. That said 4 points from 21 on offer against the bottom 7 is what has cost us a play off place. Big summer ahead and with the right investment we can be serious contenders next season

And another thing people saying we are not ready for the championship just yet this could be the closest we will ever get for the next 20 years or so who knows.

Best stick that champagne for playing vs us back on the shelf then. Do you realise that aside from obsessing about a team you do not support, that there are other methods to take your mind off having a minute penis, buy a sports car, or maybe a magnifying glass.

If he goes in the summer as some are suggesting then the fc will struggle to find a like for like replacement IMO.

Mate who is a posh fan reckoned they had no chance as they have been dire recently with a much maligned diamond formation. But today to the surprise of most of the locals they changed formation and were much better. Perhaps this outflanked DC. Local radio here reckoned gas superb for first 15 minutes and unlucky to be 2 down at half time. However, our away form leaves us frustrated. A dilemma really. A third promotion would have been wonderful, but I think it is too soon. The championship is a major step up and I don't think this squad even with additions would have coped, as illustrated by our dire recent away results... But next season......
