I thought the red card was harsh, and yes the ref definitely had a yellow out before the red. Chasing a game with ten men was always going to be tricky and I'm afraid Mac looked way off the pace. You'll need to hide behind the sofa when they show the last goal. Thought Lines and Boateng played well - just a shame the latter isn't a bit quicker.

Thought deliberate bringing down in the area was still a red card. Hence Puddy giving a pen with no real intent was not a red It hinges on whether there is an attempt to play the ball or not. So a "deliberate" foul where the intent is to hurt the player would still get a red in the box, but frankly when have you ever seen a player stupid enough to do that in the box?! Leadbitter's tackle would've been a yellow in the box, but it's a red outside. Last season it would've been a red inside or outside, so I'm not really sure what DC is upset about.

Worse than that ..... it was a real shocker!!!. Even worse than that it was......well you get the drift I think.

Not a foul in a million years, No 22 bottles it, sees Lockyer is coming over to cover and throws himself on the floor. If in doubt just look at the cheating little monkey when he sees the red card, fist pumping and laughing his head off. In that situation, and I say this in all seriousness, they should be docked the 3 points and be made to play their next game with 10 players and 22 should have a 3 match ban. Edit, in fact, why give someone else the advantage, they should play the reverse fixture against us with 10 players.

Last game of the season and given our - current - respective form who knows how important that fixture may be??!!

I quite like being able to go to games without having to worry about the threat of violence from opposition fans, so I stand by my comments about that list of teams.

That's a fair comment and I'm sure there are a few more clubs you could add to that list. Not trying to be pedantic, but you included Chelski in the original list....i thought our recent mach at theirs passed off trouble free? In fact, I sang my heart out in the streets of London, in underground, in stadium and surrounds without a hint of bother. Are you generalising? Or referring to 80s eastville?? Or something else? Just interested.. Sorry, off topic..

Just interested.. Sorry, off topic.. Steady on, this is almost bordering on conversation rather than Alf Garnet ranting which I thought was all that was allowed? So I'll get it back on track. No, Chelsea still have a serious problem, as highlighted by the Police moving Rovers' supporters out of pubs around the ground. That was particularly annoying as it made it clear that they knew that certain individuals would arrive and cause alarm, distress or fear to law abiding members of the public, so rather than deal with the problem they moved us so that they unruly could continue in their antisocial behaviour, and no doubt boast about how 'nobody from another team drinks on my manor', or some such mockney nonsense. As long as the Police do this sort of thing it gives something for impressionable youngsters to look up to, so the problem carries on.

Was my first trip to Millwall and I was a tiny bit nervous, but need not have been genuinely no more intimidating than somewhere like Northampton.
Drank in London Bridge before and after, got the train to South Bermondsey and walked the seggrogated walkway. A few children doing the w****r sign from another stand was s scary as it got.

Lucky you, of all the FL clubs, only Leeds, Barnsley, Wolves, Derby, Borough and Fulham had more football related arrests, quite an achievement given their comparatively low attendances. Of course, Leeds had most out of everybody, including the PL clubs.

How the hell is Hartley booked for this? and not like you can appeal a yellow card 30 knows what he's done, that's an elbow and a straight red, 7 sees it and calls for help. Are we going to get a ref who has the faintest idea what he's doing this season?

Lose 1 0 or 4 0,tis the nature of the beast DC is.Down to ten men,a goal down, some managers try to close shop and keep the score 'respectable'. I don't see anything "respectable" in capitulation. Proud of DCs attitude that we do all we can to try and win the game.
