Moa tse tong now that's a name to make you loose sleep,or how about the Kray twins It's a name to something. It's pinyin has been Mao Zedong for about 40 years (and for the old timers, who don't like change, before that it was Mao Tse Tung). Unless you're thinking of someone else.

What about all the disappeared that happened in his name by the generals apparently thousands went missing never to be seen again until some mass graves were discovered a while ago he was no angel Between 34 to 50 million deaths have been attributed to Stalin. The population of Argentina is 40.45 million.

But we're talking about 10s of thousands at most. You can throw in Pinochet, the Argentinian and Brazilian junta's and a particularly nasty regime in Paraguay but all those horrors combined are barely a drop in the ocean compared with the industrial level butchery of the millions killed by Hitler and Stalin. It's just not on remotely the same scale.

It's just not on remotely the same scale. I refer you again to rule 44. 44. Submissions need not be of equivalent evil to the last two accepted submissions. Submissions may trump their predecessor by notoriety, girth, or contemporaneous relevance.Moa tse tong now that's a name to make you loose sleep Allowed under rule 7. 7. Submissions must be correctly spelled, unless made by an old person. It's pinyin has been Mao Zedong for about 40 years (and for the old timers, who don't like change, before that it was Mao Tse Tung). Unless you're thinking of someone else. I refer you to rule 7.1. 7.1. Challenges formed of pedantry, research, or having any subject knowledge (while not illegal) are discouraged; offenders are encouraged to donate four points to charity.Padstow & Shoveller’s close season Men Worse Than Higgs game Green, Hitler, Khan, Blair, Vlad, Stalin, Thatcher, Hunt, Péron, Jack, Pot, Chiang, Mao Tse Tung.

He told me that there were more of his own people in Siberia than others. Stalin has to be the worst of all.

Both equally as evil as one another.

They are still uncovering murders that were perpetrated under Stalin.

He was planning a 400k capacity version, they actually started work on it but the war got in the way. I imagine Stalin got things done, too.

As interesting as it might be trying to up the excitement about the UWE imminent announcement with all these comparisons of past leaders of questionable ideology, has there actually been one or have I got the wrong week or perhaps been reading the wrong thread or shouldn't I ask in case it's considered part of the hidden agenda ?

There was the dampest squib of a "nothing is happening still" announcement on Monday morning.
