Steve Hamer has indicated it may be in the next few working days .. Meeting to be held with UWE, he's hopeful it'll be positive and an announcement may be made tomorrow (Friday 9th) or early next week? "All systems go as we speak ..." Listen in about 42 minutes in to the sports bulletin .... www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03w6c4k#play

Being ITK I am happy to be able to give a brief summary in advance.
- We have signed a 'watertight' contract with the UWE.
- The funding is in place and has been for some time.
- Legal agreements are being finalised with all parties - currently dotting a few i's and crossing a few t's.
- Some vague statement will be made about diggers going on site in the autumn or the end of year.
- Continued references will be made to confidentiality agreements, especially in the event of any uncomfortable questions being asked.
.....oh no sorry, that was the other lot.

I hate that saying "all systems go". Just get on with it. I imagine it's probably quite reassuring if you are an astronaut though.....

It would be shame if there is not a convoy of dumper trucks and diggers itching their way round North Bristol to thank the fans......and Nick of course. If not Jim must speak out.

The Nick Higgs Stadium. The NHS. Quite apt considering the lack of funding....

The Nick Higgs Stadium. The NHS. Well it certainly turned out to be a cash cow under the last regime.
