Could we be the next club, that is not among the traditional 5/6 clubs, to challenge the upper echelons of the Premier League. With our new wealthy owner, a new stadium on the way and fantastic support we could be in The Foxes shoes in 10 years time!

Leicester are a seriously wealthy club owned by a multi billionaire. We are nowhere near as wealthy as some people seem to think we are, we aren't even the richest club in Bristol, so I think 'being the next Leicester' is some way off for us. No harm in dreaming, but as Chewy said, I'd settle for emulating Burton Albion atm.

To follow the path that Leicester have taken we would need to build a new ground, go bust, and not pay the builders.

Regardless of wealth, Wael has made it clear that he is going to run the club the right way not the Lansdown way.

Just based on their reputed nett worths , I haven't actually asked our owners, nor do I really care. I'm not complaining btw, I am more than happy with our new owners so far, and would infinitely prefer them to build the club properly rather than just chuck money at it.

Yeah I agree with that , I like the idea of the land being lined up to build a state of the art training academy/ facility to rival Man citehs , coaching kids from the under 7 s upwards, try to tempt the best youngsters from the south west and Wales . Landsdowns billions hasn't exactly set the world alight

Bonkers.

I would imagine that getting the right people in is just as important as having expensive facilities (within reason of course!). If Steve Letdown has taught us anything it is that bunging money at the problem doesn't necessarily solve it.

If that's all they've got we're fed. He had the money to pay Wonga, that was a big big problem coming at us at 1000 miles an hour. And he's paid off the previous BoD. So far so good as far as I'm concerned.

The team won't even have any shirts to play in, Rat Boy from Withywood will have nicked them all.
