Jon, what's happening?
28 pages and counting and not one proven fact about this mooted takeover.
Can you either go back to your source and ask for confirmation that things are progressing or name some names now please? If it's true then Higgs will already know who these people are, so there's no harm in sharing the information.

Gotta sat i'm in a difficult position so am damned if i do and even bigger damned if i don't - so have to be prepared to be knocked i suppose- I'll repeat there IS a consortium in negotiations with the club and i would say things have advanced in the last week and i cannot imagine that it will be much longer before a public statement is released by a *party involved shall we say as there have been significant movements - sorry its a bit dilly dally i honestly feel more will come out/come to light next week and would expect leaks to start popping up everywhere - unless of course its 'Watertight!" - UTG!

Makes the accounts problems of BRSC and a 7 week delay in the Q&As jolly convenient! In fairness to all i think it was actually a coincidence - i think a genuine delay happened with a SC Committee members computer and knowing that they all work bloody hard for feck all i believe them and sure they were gutted it particularly happened this year- Was it convenient? maybe maybe not tbf i think the top table were looking forward to grilling myself and few others as much as we wanted to hear some answers!

I also believe BRSC's problems are genuine, and realise they work hard for little recognition. I also believe there would be no collusion between the BoD and BRSC. But I bet, if what you are predicting is true, plus also all the other shenanigans, NH is relieved not to face a crowd. It's a shame the Q&As did not go ahead as a separate meeting as all the key players were lined up.

A lot of talk and speculation is what is going on. Talk of the consortium seems too good to be true! Hope I am wrong though!

I think it would be best if the ITK's stopped posting at the moment as they may say something that could be a disaster to any proposed/suggested/rumoured takeover.

Whilst I know Jon well enough to know he isn't telling us a load of nonsense I'm still struggling to understand why a 'consortium' whoever they might be, with no previous connection with Bristol Rovers want to take an enormous chance and invest £40 million in building a stadium plus more investment in the team for what return ? Why would you do it, there is no guarantee of success or no guarantee of getting your money back. Am I being sceptical about the supposed possibility of this investment, I don't think so. I'm just trying to be a realist and trying to understand the purpose of why a group of people what to make such a huge investment into a club that traditionally have rarely played above level 3 of the football pyramid
