will NH walk if it goes badly on Monday I suspect he will It's the least he could do Mike. This was his forte, after all. This was supposed to be his thing & he took his attention away from an under performing team, to make sure all the detail was in order. IF it doesn't go our way then he would have no credibility left whatsoever. He really would be a dead Duck but I never cease to be amazed at the mans stubbornness. Let's not forget, without him the club would cease to exist. Let's hope we win though. As much as I feel we will not progress with Mr Higgs at the helm, I would still rather win. I feel bloody nervous and have done, since the announcement that the decision was Monday. I just want it done now. If it all goes wrong tomorrow I fear we will lose a lot of our fans as well we already have a disproportionate ageing fan base we need new blood and with that shower of s**te from south of the border steaming ahead we can't afford another kick in the nuts all my kids went to watch us with me but don't bother now 2 came to Wembley and it got them interested again .we need some good news on and off the pitch let's hope it's good news for us all although I have some other results I will find out about tomorrow to worry about utg

Will Higgs attend tomorrow if he knows that the decision has gone against him? Good point, Although as the "face" of the accused (or not) I would of thought he'd have to?

Well today at Sailsbury when asked about Monday, Mr Higgs said to the guy next to me in the bar "Cannot say but suggest you enjoy your match today" that sounds to me like the appropriate response. Can't think of anything more appropriate that he might have said, and he turned up and didn't duck it

To think that most of the guys I go with, are at least in their 50's, we used to have a fair few younger come with us and we had at least a couple of minibuses to take us and pick us up. You are on the money about the new support. If ever we needed good news then it's right now. Mate, best of luck with the results. I know how worrying it is as I recently had a huge setback. I know it's cliche but I really do take it one day at a time. Damn, I'd be pretty happy as long as I had a stable period and was able to get out of the house daily. Funny how expectations change Dave. Hoping for good news tomorrow, for the club and for you buddy

I never thought of it that way before and that cheered me up some the he only thing that really both annoys and angers me is that I just can't make plans. It's hard for anyone to understand unless they go through it and the nasty treatments. I can be fine on one day they can't get out of my bed the next. As you say, one day at a time. Better than being a s***head mate pmsl. Thanks for giving I a laugh. That was much needed.

All depends what agenda GD NH and co got!. If they win and the UWE get's delivered. Then I need to give credit were credit is due. However: if it is a typical 'money get's lost' on expenditure: running costs and loan repayments having been paid out a undisclosed settlement. We know it is an 'age old' excuse made year after year on a club who averages over 6'500 and makes on average 500k a year on transfers. I can understand Portsmouth and Plymouth because they tasted top flight football and improved their grounds. We have never ever been beyond lower divisions in the last 20 years and the MEM is getting worst not better... I am sorry but I am at a loss why our club is £5-6 million in debt . Let's hope monday proves me wrong and it will be a price worth paying !! That statement would amaze every Plymouth fan

Depends on what your interpretation of top flight football is. I consider championship football as proper stuff. The fact is Plymouth and Rovers were neck in neck in the 1990's . In the season 1999-2000 our board had a big decision to make. Do we push on and fund a team for championship football or do we fund the manager with kids from Leicester in our final promotion fight.
Plymouth pushed on and became a well established championship team . Success breeds success and three parts of Argyle stadium were revamped. Plymouth tasted top ex prem team with crowds of around 14000 with brand new facilities and lovely seats families can sit in. We started dropping down the table in the old division 3 and ended up in the basement league a few years later. The MEM is the same NOW as in 1997 when we first moved back. So what is my point ??
Of the few big teams in div 2 this season you can understand why they have gone from rags to riches. You could argue Plymouth became a victim of it's own success. However: I struggle to understand how our club is nearly £6 million in debt. Of course if NH wins the day and the UWE get's delivered I can justify our pass and see clear evidence of the future. But presently I see mass debt with free signings and a bone rattling ground.

Well today at Sailsbury when asked about Monday, Mr Higgs said to the guy next to me in the bar "Cannot say but suggest you enjoy your match today" we decided that he did not sound happy so it was going to be bad news.....typical Rovers fans. UTG But that is normal as far as I see it. We have had so many years of nothing but setback and bad news, that we come to expect it. He may have meant enjoy your match day as in have a big drink as we are sorted but I always expect the worst. It's not as if I can give even one example of a real triumph as the TRASH battle only ended up with us, in the situation we are in right now On the subject of TRASH, rumour has it that Councillor Radice will be a candidate in the next Mayoral election. Is it possible to have a campaign to promote NOT electing her? Sorry I accused you of hatred, was having a bad day.
