How many new players will that actually get you though ? I see Newport County have signed John Paul Pitman from Grimsby Very few players, I would imagine. Do you mean Lenell John-Lewis? He's gone to Newport but I think Pittman is staying to atone for his penalty miss? At that level, it'll be the wages of one player, possibly two if they can get close to £100k raised. Not a bad amount, especially if it pays for the player who gets them promoted. If they do sod all then it'll be worth very little of course.

If they do sod all then it'll be worth very little of course. for that amount£100,000 ...and two players at that level. £45 grand a year!! that would be astonishing, would be looking for3 players possibly 4 and with a good packet for that league

I'm sure the unsold items will continue to be sold throughout the season to raise more funds.
total raised by their cut off date, for the "promotion push" no doubt there will be more to follow, that is some effort by them,
