The problem is even when teams do us a BIG favour ( Kiddi) we still blow it. You could argue luck have been against us in the last few years. But today was that day it was 'given on the plate'. It don't bode well for this football club..

WestCountry I see your logic. 1-1 at Dover is a better result than 1-1 at Kiddy, but..... Clarke has a big job to do. Regardless of whether Barnet win next week, we have to win as if we don't I fear what happened today could mean we implode during the playoffs. Apparently players slumped on the ground at FT. They know this lost a chance today. Clarke has to earn his money this week! The end of a football season is usually a mess, we let Dover score again today and it's all but over, Barnet score again today and it really is over. We've took a blow today but the fight isn't over, Gateshead only need a point, if they needed 3 i would be feeling like a miracle was needed, but i said the other week even if Gateshead have nothing to play for, they are the best footballing side in the league who can hurt any team, Barnet were awful today they maybe bouncing from our result but next week is a massive banana skin fixture for them. Last season Wycombe must have thought they had a 10% chance of staying up, i would say that all things considered we have a decent 40% chance of things going for us next week. 20% at best I'd say. Barnet won't slip up at home, they've got a great record against teams outside the top 6. Gutted.

Draws were the old wins. If they are the new loses times have changed. No it's brilliant, no easy games against outfits like Dover.

Hard to be upbeat given the lateness of dover's equaliser and barnet's result...
but if you told me before today that we would match Barnet's score I would have taken it
fingers crossed for the last games of the season...again!

Crap game. Played poor. No urgency. Dover were crap. Front line non existent. No width for 90mins. Tidy rovers goal. Scrambled equaliser. Balanta was shocking again. May as well of had ten men.
Play offs it is!

Think Gateshead are already on the beach unfortunately, lost their last two and conceded seven. Think Barnet will win comfortably but you never know.
We need a win, even if it's just for a bit of momentum going into the playoffs.

Let's get to half time 6pm next saturday before we say it's over, by then we could be winning 2-0 and Barnet maybe drawing 0-0. Or we could be facing the play-offs come 6pm next week. If the atmosphere is s***e next week we are fuc**d. I think everyone would have taken us being 1 point behind Barnet at various stages this season, i know today was rollercoaster that has left us all deflated.

Gutted. Missed the equaliser as at the other end, but told that Puddy dropped the ball on the line. The players all looked shellshocked at the end. I fear for next week unfortunately. Utg

Play offs will be very very difficult .....
Grimsby very decent side...
Forest Green and Eastleigh ... very crafty, bullying , time wasters, bordering cheats... Have shown they were too clever for us already this season !!
Rovers.... Really don't know what team will be picked or then turn up in any week...

Gutted Just left after a quite shocking performance from the team, and dreadful defensive tactics by Clarke. No shots on target first half, one second when we actually scored, against a very poor team. Rubbish, terrible

Would rather play FGR than Eastleigh, but still wouldnt fancy our chances. I still think that if we get to Wembley we will win, it is the two legged semi final that worries me.

Just starting to calm down again even though I've just heard its salad for tea...
The only slight consolation for me is that there is still one last game and expectations will be lowered but we are still in it !! ... had this happened next week at home when we were top of the league and f**ked it up against Alfreton I think there would have been a riot!!

Funny ol' game. Reckon if the results were the same but we came back from one down to equalise n 88th minute we would likely be praising the " never stay die" attitude of the team? Just a thought.

But we weren't? We were 1-0 up and three minutes from almost nailed on promotion as champions and we've let one in. Hardly surprising for people to be massively deflated.

Not putting away and scoring enough goals has cost us! Puddy will get the blame today just like Mildenhall did a couple of weeks ago for making 1 mistake Yet our forwards can miss countless clear cut chances over the season and get praised! I'm a massive fan of Clarke but selecting Puddy over Mildenhall is a mistake. He's a decent shot stopper but highly error prone as we've seen the last few weeks. It was a matter of time before an error was made that would prove highly significant and we've seen that today. Experience is vital this time of the season and Mildenhall must be recalled. I disagree, DC's only big mistake this season was dropping Puddy in the first place.
