For those keeping a record of our travelling fans this season, what is our average now? Surely the 2600 plus at Kidderminster have taken us past the 900 average?
Fantastic support after the last few years of hurt! Well done to us all.

The average Rovers away support in Conference games so far is 847. (Excludes Cup games and is based on published away support, so excludes Gas who went into non-segregated areas of grounds). The mean attendance at Rovers away Conference games is 2,522. So, on average, Rovers fans have formed 33.6% of the crowd. An away following of 2,058 at Dover would give an average for the season of exactly 900. The table below shows the average Rovers away support in the last five seasons in the League. Season BRFC Fans 2009-10 694 2010-11 615 2011-12 608 2012-13 511 2013-14 679 Previous seasons' data was obtained from www.football-league.co.uk/documents/visiting-fans549-2006734.pdfRead more: gasheads.org/thread/2153/away-support#ixzz3WdgHiKV8

Funny how the doom mongers on the forums have been predicting that our fall from league 1 to the Conference would see attendances plummet and the consequent demise of Rovers! Our home and away attendances have held up remarkably well during the last few years.

if we don't go up this season it will be interesting to see what sort of away support we get next season. yes it has been great going to some of these clubs , but i can see the novelty of it wearing a bit thin come next season if we were not around top spot.
