Say what you like about him, he was immense today. I think anyone would find it hard to argue with that. Linked it well created multiple chances, including some great play to set up Linesy to put over with the net gaping. How many goals has he got now this season? I think he's extremely under rated.
Well done and UTG!

Well done and UTG! We were all laughing out loud at the bloke. Put through on goal, ref blows up for offside (wrongly as Taylor was in his own half when the ball was played), everyone stopped, including the keeper, and Taylor still shot wide. On balance, although you can't fault his work rate, I would rather have a fit Easter than Taylor, just because of the fact that he misses at least one sitter every game.

Player of the season for me. Don't think we'd be where we are in the table without him.

Well done and UTG! Agree! When he came off to a resounding reception, I thought he was gonna be man of match. His running was immense, had their defence all over the place. One of his best movement matches. Key player, well done to all that appreciate his awareness..

Totally agree. Beautifully taken goal - Again.
He is a gem.
You could see that the Chester fans love him too.

I didn't see his celebration....did he go bananarama or show respect? First two goals fantastic crosses from Dawson. We've been screaming out for decent supplier of crossing..

He went behind the goal to celebrate and at the time I thought he'd stopped to gloat in front of the Chester fans. Seemed a bit out of character and the Chester fans didn't seem too bothered about it. However, I've just noticed this pic on the BRFC twiiter account which shows he was actually partying for the Goal-Cam: twitter.com/Official_BRFCBack on subject and I think he is a quality, intelligent, skillful player, who holds the ball up well, brings others into the game, has a good eye for a pass, and for his height wins his fair share of headers.

I also felt the gaffa's change to 5 at the back and allowing the wing backs to push on was a big help and put us back in control to score the goals to help the goal difference! anyway on to the next one, and watch out for Jake Green on the left wing for them trained with us last year quick lad with some real quality. his older brother is at Birmingham I believe (or was last time I checked)

Think he took a shove in the back as he was taking aim so to speak. Then again I was drunk so I'm more than likely wrong.

Oh no, it's the Matty Taylor debate again, scores one and he's Ronaldo, not that Ronaldo would risk spoiling his hairstyle with a header, and all his many misses are forgotten; if he had put half of those away we would be champions by now.

He was two yards inside their half when the ball was played. The only shock was that it took 3 or 4 seconds longer than it should have for the liner to raise his flag.

And if he hadn't scored any like Blisset or Jamie White we'd be mid table, it's odd how Rovers fans have to criticise their own players now, if Taylor scored with every chance he had he'd already be playing league football, unfortunately, strikers at this level have their weaknesses.

Blisset, as I have argued before, is not playing in the same way as he was when he played against us at the Mem and looked impressive. Jamie White scored 51 then 36 goals in the two seasons before coming to us but then 0. It is my opinion, and I am not alone, that Taylor has missed too many even for this league and I have said this for a long time. I feel that it is DC's loyalty to him that has been an error.
