I know he has only had a smattering of cameo appearances, but he oozes quality. Yesterday he nearly threaded a pass through to Ellis which would have been a one on one, it got cut out by an Alty defender. What vision though. He also looks about a stone lighter too. Hopefully he'll get a bit more time on the pitch against Braintree.

Agreed. He has a bit more than most players at this level and he could make a difference in the run in. Hope he starts Tuesday.

Balanta a definite starter for me and I can't wait to see Balanta and Easter in the same team together as when you have players with their skills you need to play them and they will probably be on each others wave length.

He wasn't bad yesterday but he's looked unmotivated at times to me, especially at Dartford. Hopefully he can stay fit and contribute to the run-in because he's clearly got some talent.

Was a great night and over 150 Rovers in there to celebrate Shirley's 1 yr anniversary of having the pub. I heard Harrison playrd well and a good few mentioned him

balanta looks like a bad imitation copy of the doll pob from Eastville market in the mid 80s.
good player though.

Would agree with the unmotivated bit in the games I've seen him in. Against Wrexham away too he looked and acted quite disinterested going into challenges half hearted not tracking back etc. I agree with you he clearly has some talent, it's just getting him motivated.

Maybe right about needing to be motivated but putting him on the bench every week in the conference surely is not the way to do just that. His problem is he is not the type of player who is going to run through brick walls (ala Sinclair). He needs the ball to be passed quickly to his feet and this is our big problem we don't have enough players capable of doing this. IMO if we get promoted we should make every effort to sign him next season as he will be just the type of player we need at the higher standard. We have plenty of players who will run through brick walls but not enough with a bit of quality about them.

Disagree about Dartford, thought he was our best player first half after coming on, would have scored if not for a bad bobble on a very bad pitch.

As other posters have already said he does seem to have a problem motivating himself, but the thing is that he has a good pedigree and skills. As we are now beginning to strike good form and getting good results, this may assist him. But the biggest factor in motivating him may well be his contract, which expires at the end of the season. That should concentrate anyone's mind.

Balanta should replace Blissett on Tuesday, if Taylor is fit, that is. I agree, I thought Harrison and Balanta "clicked" as a pair of strikers, they seem to be on the same page and had some good inter actions. We just need to play the ball on the ground to make the most of their talents. If Taylor and Blissett are fit, then a spell sitting on the bench won't do them any harm.

I'd say: (fully fit squad) Mildenhall Leadbitter Parkes McChrystal Brown Mansell Dawson Sinclair Monkhouse Taylor Balanta/Blissett I ain't a fan of Harrison. All he can do is blast it into the stands.
