So if rovers win on tuesday they will go top.

If you are top and lose to a bunch of rag asses like Colchester, it's fine to blame both the pitch and referee in the same sentence, apparently

It would be a nice problem for us to have in the scheme of things. Better than; can we handle being in the relegation zone? or can we handle another season of lower midtable League 2 obscurity? The answer to those tends to be no so maybe this is the sort of challenge we are more cut out for.

We're not top yet, but if we are fortunate enough to get up there, it'll be fun finding out..

We're rapidly reaching the time of the season when the men will be sorted from the boys, and I believe that we will step up . . . but it won't necessarily be pretty to watch though.

It was never pretty when we went up under Gerry Francis. Lots of odd goal wins and draws in the mix and this season has much the same feel. I'm really beginning to think we can do it!

Always felt that the teams who are top for long periods don't always finish seasons well we have gradually eroded the lead and are now posed to go top ? Now is the time to step up the fans can have a huge effect on how this ends up we need to try and keep our feet on the ground and just keep grinding out results I feel Easter will be when its all sorted but we have a great chance now utg

I was encouraged by Harrison & Balanta as a partnership today, good to have options for a change

winning is the aim now,[as it always has been]but now it will be ugly or very ugly!!!, Barnet were 11 points clear at one time, and all those in with a shout, most have closed them down, their goal difference has also shrunk from over +20 to now just +15,while that is likely to come down a little more Rovers do need to get a few more per game, Feel that Rovers, Macc' Grimsby,Halifax, Eastliegh and Barnet will be those scrabbling for the important places at the final cut, hopefully Rovers will edge the most important spot

Shouldn't we get there before we worry about this?

Probably the question is "Could we handle NOT being top?". Brings a whole different world of pain.

It's mission accomplished as far as I'm concerned. We will win this league pulling away. At least a 5 to 10 point lead at the end of the season. The rest are beginning to crumble. Barnet are a beaten docket, Macclesfield are not strong enough and the rest are too far behind. League 1 football in the UWE is now just 3 years away.
