Agreed, with the beard and easter on their way back, I expect we will win all our home games and most of the away ones, which equals definate play offs, possible automatic promotion. UTG

A corner has been turned over the past week for Rovers. The league is now very winnable and the job will be done with a few games to spare. The situation with regards to the UWE Stadium is as good as it has been in months. The money will be secured in May and Sainburys will be forced to make up the shortfall on the stadium build as well. Now is the time to build the team for an assault on the League Two title. Into the new stadium in time for League 1 football and a renewal of serious derby matches against the red side. Life is good What's that smell?

Things are certainly looking a lot more positive for us. A fabulous win at Grimsby today provides us with some momentum to further progress our position. All we can do now is ensure we get our performances right and the rest will take care of itself. Have Barnet started to lose their confidence and is the pressure starting to tell on both players and management ? Their game against Grimsby will be interesting as Grimsby could well up their performance having lost ground against us today as they won't want the gap to open up any further. Our game against Macclesfield is starting to become even more important in determining where we finally finish..UTG! funnily enough the stats will say we had an easier time on sat than the Bees will this Sat. Grimsby have the best away record in the lge, and only a mid 'table' home record.

Obviously we can do it but it means we have to be on top form and lucky and Barnet have to implode. We do look pretty certain to be in the play-offs but they are a complete lottery. Play offs are not a complete lottery, they're based on how well the teams competing in them play. In the 12 years since the play offs were introduced in the conference, the team finishing second has gone up 3 times, the team finishing third 6 times, the team finishing fourth 3 times and the team finishing fifth has never been promoted. so he moral of the story is make sure you finish 3rd, not 2nd
