I only joined following the closure of the OF so I cannot comment on whether it has become more balanced. I am in agreement with you about the vast majority of the fans on here want what's best for BRFC, I don't go along with the 'some people want Rovers to lose' opinion. You are right about the shout loudest or post most comment, it's probably the 'negative' posters who post more which gives me idea that there are more of them than rose tinters.

perhaps you should have then..... as it is we[BRFC] are where we are, its relevant to the fact that the past 7/9 years have been dire and this is aligned to the inept handling of this football club, but being on the brink of regaining FL status is something to be just a tad cheery about surely?.....and as for St Dalfour Rhapsidie, never knew he existed. is he available in Lidl or Aldi? By all means celebrate mediocrity, if that's what makes you happy. I would rather demand a bit more than that. Getting out of this park team division is the first step. Dealing with dross like Accrington Stanley and Daggenham & Redbridge is next. St Dalfour Rhapsidie de Fruit available from Tesco, home delivery available if 0.45 miles along Kellaway Ave is too far to expect a customer to have to go to a supermarket But remember to buy a toaster as well, not a cheap appliance that just scorches the outside of your bread. Enjoy. your so funny,a great poster though you simply dont bother answering any difficult questions, good solution lol

Both those with a positive outlook and those with a negative one believe that they're being "realistic". Although the dozens of posters on the official forum who were getting on the promotion bus after we beat Plymouth on the 8 Mar last year were a little too positive for me!

No, my morning toast, toasted correctly, not burned in an Argos Econo toaster, and spread with a generous topping of St Dalfour Rhapsidie de Fruit Blackcurrant was delicious, washed down with a cup of black Medium Roast filter. The issue is the people who seem to think we have just won the World Cup and are running around in circles with their little todgers out. Sadly for them, here's the reality, we have a manager who got us relegated out of the entire League, he couldn't manage 90th position, now, along with his assistant, (who it's worth noting is vastly more experienced), we are towards the top of a division in which a third of the teams aren't even full time we are told that we should celebrate. No thanks, when we are back in the 3rd division it will be time to pat backs and congratulate people, until then all we are doing is taking the first steps towards putting right the disaster concocted by the board, Ward and Clarke. in what way is the assistant vastly more experienced? In terms of having played the game at a decent level.

Exactly that. But I would go one further, the job isn't done until we are back at our historical level and where we were when Higgs arrived, towards the top end of the 3rd tier. So we scrape a 1-0 win over established Conference team Grimsby, so what, they have also been turned over at home this season by Macclesfield Town, Lincoln City (remember them from last week? Pub team), Kidderminster Harriers, Southport and Torquay. Jeez, the way the happy clappers are celebrating I had to check yesterday's results, I thought we have just returned, triumphant after a 8-0 away win at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. so do you cheer the team on? celebrate goals? sing the songs? whats your approach on match days ? are you grim faced waiting for us to be 7th in league 1? No, I don't jump around in faux delirium when a goal is scored. To be honest, I find watching people doing that quite embarrasing and rather ridiculous. Yes, I'm pretty grim faced right now, this board and this manager took us out of the Football League, I bet they can't believe their luck that they have supporters prepared to brush that under the carpet because a 1-0 away win is secured against a Grimsby team who had already lost 5 home games this season. The downwards spiral appears to have been arrested (allbeit at a very low base), that's a start, nothing more.

I've pointed you in the direction of a rather fine preserve and explained that if you buy a good quality toaster you will wonder how/why you put up with scorched bread all these year.

Sounds like trouble in paradise when you have to speak to your nads and tell them to do their job?

Ummm, to be more experienced. If someone who has been there and done it all as a player explains to you what he knows the best way to go about things is, you are likely to listen to him, aren't you?

Maybe Clarke listens to Stewart. All I know is Stewy shouts at players to do their f******g job a bit so....

That's my point. Clarke isn't absolved of responsibility for what happened in the first 38 games last season. If Clarke is to be given credit for the team being second in this division, then his assistant (and the man who seems to communicate with the players more during the matches whilst Clarke tends to stand around with a bemused look on his face) should also get his share of the plaudits.
