I'm staying in Caernafon on Tuesday night and Bangor City v Aberystwyth is on just down the road for my first ever Welsh league game. I love the Welsh pyramid, most Welsh Prem teams are North Walian though so I've only done Newtown, Cardiff Met, Barry Town and Neath (RIP). I've done lots more further down the pyramid though and it's a lot of fun.
Ended up pieing off Devon this weekend and went to Manchester, went to Manchester City - Arsenal yesterday and City were very good at football.
I spend a lot of time in north and mid Wales these days (I'm in Shrewsbury now and heading to Newtown and Welshpool tomorrow before I go onto Bangor) I have seen a lot of the grounds but tomorrow is the first time I will get to see a game at one of them. Sadly I now know I will become obsessed with seeing more.

A new ground but quite a nice one and just round the corner from the Menai Straits bridge which I would imagine you would be able to see from the ground on afternoon kick offs.

Couple of doubles planned with Rovers;
- Staying in Blackburn after the Blackburn match and doing Burnley vs Arsenal on the Sunday. That's two new ticks.
- Go to France the night before Gillingham to pick up a game in Northern France. Keeping our options open atm.

US Boulogne vs Cholet in France before Gillingham, two days before that it'll be a trip to the London Stadium to watch West Ham vs Arsenal. US Boulogne will be my 300th ground 2 years and seven months after my 200th which, was also in Northern France.

I'm a member of Arsenal South West & Wales supporters club, means I can get away tickets for Arsenal games for £30 despite not really liking them.

Celtic kick off at 12 at home to Rangers on the 30th, so I should be able to get across to Airdrie to see their game against Alloa which would get me to 28 out of the 42 north of the border. My birthday treat to myself

I am going to watch the Manchester derby on New Years Eve. That's the table topping millionaire's of Salford City vs the fast improving mid-table people's champions FC United. This will be a new ground for me as I have not been to Moor Lane before. The corresponding fixture on Boxing Day at Broadhurst Park produced the result of the season for FCUM who beat Salford 3-2. It should be a decent sized crowd for the occasion - Salford have a new ground in the offing in advance of their imminent League status.

My birthday treat to myself 4times I have attempted to tick off a new ground when in Scotland on my birthday and this became the 4th postponed game! I thought I was safe- Airdrie have an artificial pitch!

You’re not missing much. I know- I actually got to the ground before I found out! I have to say it didn't look too bad from the outside, but I have seen photos of the inside and it looks pretty soulless.

Little update, busy couple of weeks before Christmas. Ticked the London Stadium for West Ham against Arsenal, s**te game and s**te, s**te ground. Truly awful... Then before Gillingham away I went to US Boulogne on the Friday night for my 300th ground. Here I am in the bar before... and here I am celebrating with their ultras after!

I know the feelings about postponements. Without a game on Saturday thought I’d go to Poole Town and see out two youngsters for Poole who’ve just joined them on loan against Chippenham. Poured down Friday night, didn’t check....postponed! Not too bad though only a 15 minutes drive.

Little trip to Germany booked;
VfL Osnabruck vs Chemnitzer on Friday the 9th of February.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Hertha Berlin on Saturday the 10th.
Flights to Cologne from Bristol were £22 return, tickets for both games were under £20 and train from Cologne to Osnabruck was £22. Hotels £30ish each, cheap and decent little trip!

Finally got the invite to Crusaders this weekend! Our company is the shirt sponsor for Mark McCrystal Finished 1-0 to Crusaders, 90th minute goal. MM was man of the match, played at left-back. Had a great chat with him before the game and a couple of photos with my son. Nice club with a welcoming set-up. Brian Jenson (ex Burnley/WBA) was on the bench!

It should be a decent sized crowd for the occasion - Salford have a new ground in the offing in advance of their imminent League status. By the way - I went to this game and it ended 2-2 with FC United getting a deserved leveller with 2 minutes to go. There was an impressive 3000 there and very little love lost between the fanbases. Although Salford's suddenly found fans were a bit lacking in passion to me. I was wrong about the ground though - it's up already I didn't realise that I thought it was completed for next season. But they now have a very tidy 6000 all seater ground which is definitely Football League quality. No doubt it will be visible on the next 'Class of 92'. That means by the way that within 5 miles of my house there is now Old Trafford, The City of Manchester Stadium, City's ludicrous 2nd stadium thing which they claim holds 20k, Edgeley Park, Broadhurst Park and now Moor Lane (AJ Bell Stadium, the Rugby ground, is just outside that boundary) all of which are football league quality. With a whole ton of other ones just outside that limit. Manchester must rival London for concentration of stadiums.

I'm working in London for a couple of days so I'm able to tick off West Ham v Crystal Palace (Even better a West Ham fan I know has a spare free ticket) and then Spurs v Manchester United on the Wednesday. Although I have been to Wembley many times, the nerd in me wants to tick it off as a league ground.

Ticked York Road the home of Maidenhead United on Saturday, it's the oldest continuously-used senior association football ground in the world by the same club. Really enjoyed it, though sad to see Chester in an absolute pickle.
Wednesday I'm off to Devon for 5 days so doing Exeter - FGR on the Big Bank on Wednesday and Budleigh - Teignmouth on Saturday weather permitting.
The following weekend is Germany as mentioned above that.
Busy.
