Note the time of his tweet... Nothing since! Cheers upthegas. I know nothing about the player other than what I've read, but if BRFC do pull it off I think that he will be a good signing for us. Loan signing, or what? Official site, says Right winger on loan, few little things to sort out with the other club.

Ha Ha Ha.All those people on here at the beginning of the season saying Clarke doesn't know what he is doing, we will be playing Weston; he has no contacts. Where are these people now? Come on Bamber Grass Groin admit it YOU WERE WRONG

Adam Dawson www.lcfc.com/team/development_squad/'Another addition to the squad for the 2013/14 season, Dawson proved to be a highly effective force on both flanks for the Foxes in their hunt for a top half finish. The highly-rated former Bury and Liverpool youngster joined City after a spell with Wigan, and immediately impressed with his trickery, creative spark and eye for goal.'

Easter and Taylor in a 442, with the option to bring on Blisset if we're behind / misfiring and switch to a 433

Why would DC change his succesful 4-4-2 formation? I'd let Blisset, Taylor & Easter fight it out for the front two roles, after all we're not going to try and fit Puddy & Mildenahll in the team now the latter is fit!! It maybe worthwhile trying Taylor in the "hole" when the need arises but I can't see that being every game? Indeed, people forget that Blissett is (I believe) in his first full season as a pro, so shouldn't be starting every game. Flexibility, competition for places, this is all good.

Not sure that's relavent in the Conference as plenty of part timers play every match, plus we've only got one match a week anyway surely Blissett can cope with that? Personally I'd be very surprised if Blissett didn't start after DC paid £50k for him unless Easter isn't the Taylor type player I was expecting. I wonder where Balatna fits into all this, assuming he does still?

It maybe worthwhile trying Taylor in the "hole" when the need arises but I can't see that being every game? One of the things that DC has impressed with is the ability to tactically switch, particularly during a game, and depart (at times) from a standard 4-4-2. Even better, he rarely reverts to one up front, which was part of our undoing last season. I couldn't imagine us going to 3 at the back many times in previous seasons, but we can do it now if needed for at least part of a game. I agree with you that Easter and Dawson's signing provides even more competition for places, but I think it is healthy. The mood is good in the camp and players on the bench know that they will get a chance to contribute. The only one I suspect will lose out now is Goldberg as I think he is pushed one more down the pecking order and probably will be surplus to requirements.

What I mean is that Blissett won't have found any real consistency yet, which is for the coaching staff to manage.

Balanta's always been a left winger as far as I remember, maybe now that he's allegedly fitter we can push him to left midfield and sort another somewhat troublesome position

All a bit tricky with these blank weekends. Closed door games needed for some?

Exciting times, eh? I'm really looking forward to seeing the Starting XI on Saturday, and of course the bench. Things really do seem much brighter today, and even before then they were certainly weren't dim.

With Gosling finally finding his form on the right. Assuming we have a goalie, a defender plus OC on the bench then the fight for two, or even three, forwards will be interesting between Harrison, Easter/Taylor, Goldberg, Balanta & Gosling/Dawson with Brunt also still at the club.

As mentioned in another thread West Country gas recently informed us that Matty Taylor has played his last game for the club, so I guess its a straight swap

I sent my source a text about Tubbs on Friday, he replied this morning saying that was ongoing but we face a big battle to keep MT before the window shuts, 3 football league clubs showing serious interest. No names of clubs were mentioned, i don't like to press to hard for info, but with his contract up in the summer, i hope any cash offers can be rejected.

Sorry where does it say he HAS played his last game for Rovers. Just a bit of rumour/speculation from what I read.
