I presume Easter will be a regular starter for us. But who will drop out of the team to make way for him? Blissett? Taylor? Or maybe even play all 3 of them? I know DC could rotate them but we only have Saturday games now apart from whenever we play Braintree and of course the Easter period. If he rotates them, whoever misses out could go 2 weeks without a game. I hope this doesnt effect Blissett and Taylor, who just seems to be creating a good partnership together. Before anyone suggests, I am not moaning! Its a good problem for DC to have. Rather him than me What would you do though?

I'd bring him on with about half an hour to go for the first game, and then claim he did enough to start the next game on merit. That way you can keep up the myth that there are no automatic places on the team.

But then I might be inclined to go ...........Bliss Easter ..............Taylor Monky...Manse...Sincs Or something like ...........Bliss Easter ..............Taylor Monky...Manse...Sincs...Gos depending on the formation. But that depends on how our wingers are getting on and the opposition. I imagine, if I fancied the wingers and we play the standard DC 4-4-2 then I'd drop Bliss or Taylor depending on the strengths of the oppo's back line. There you go, completely non-committal.

I'd try Blissett & Easter up front and play Taylor in a deeper role, from what I've seen of Taylor this season he looks like he could play that role. I wouldn't tinker to much formation wise, we have been playing well with the current formation. So drop Taylor back a bit, see how he get's on.

I think it depends on the team we're playing... Two slow centrebacks who are great in the air but have the turning circles of the ? Taylor & Easter. Two ball playing centrebacks who are weak in the air but pacey? Blissett & Easter. One of each? Taylor/Easter & Blissett. Personally I'd keep the two we have up front in the starting line up at Woking. Then introduce Easter at a later stage.

Its working well at the moment with Sinclair playing in front of the midfield 3 and just behind the front 2. Moving him back in the midfield 3 to allow Taylor to play in the hole is another tinker. We need to strengthen and the signing of Easter is very good in my eyes, I just worry fitting him in will break up our good form and growing partnerships.

I don't see him playing 90 minutes each game. 33 in a few days time; not old but..........

I have a pal who's a Milwall STH and said he's still pretty fast, couldn't tell you if he's faster than Taylor. I like the fact it gives up the chance to rest Matty, he's put in a hell of shift.

Cheers upthegas. I know nothing about the player other than what I've read, but if BRFC do pull it off I think that he will be a good signing for us. Loan signing, or what?

Loan signing, or what? I think loan signing as everyone seems to be waiting for Leicester to give the all clear. He has lots of non league experience going by the Evil Post. He was on loan earlier in the season at Nuneaton (I think?). He scored a couple of goals in around 10 games or so. I would presume he will get on better with better players around him if you know what I mean.

Why would DC change his succesful 4-4-2 formation? I'd let Blisset, Taylor & Easter fight it out for the front two roles, after all we're not going to try and fit Puddy & Mildenahll in the team now the latter is fit!!
It maybe worthwhile trying Taylor in the "hole" when the need arises but I can't see that being every game?

If he turns out as well as the others then I'll be happy. Assuming that he does sign, of course.

If hasn't done so already, it's about time Ellis started knocking on DC door and asking for a loan move instead of being happy to pick up his wages sitting on the bench. I might not rate Brunt much, but i have the upmost respect for his desire to get gametime and kick start his career elsewhere. If Ellis chooses to sit out the remaining 18 months on his deal instead of getting some games elsewhere to either prove he has a future here or put himself in the shop window, then come summer of 2016 he will be a 22 year old with very little playing experience on his CV.
