These awful puns on words must seem very amusing when you're young, but I am full of them, you lot are absolute beginners.

It's just been decided that I'm bringing the family for a weekend away in Woking and taking my 4-year old to his first away match

Save for a massive turnaround, there will probably not be another home game until the 7th February! 2 nil Braintree.

Woking fan here...
If you arrive by 2pm or so there should be space in the leisure centre immediately opposite the entrance to the ground, but if you're talking about bringing 2000 fans it might be quite tight nearer to kick off! There is limited on street parking near the ground but if you can't get into the leisure centre I'd recommend heading for a town centre car park and walking the 15 minutes to the ground.
Aa for seating, I can't imagine we'll be turning anyone away as it will be a fairly big payday for us. You'll have the whole terrace on one length of the pitch (uncovered, and holds roughly 1300-1400) and judging on recent big games (Barnet, Aldersh*t), about 500 seats in our main (covered) stand.
Adults £15, concessions a tenner and kids £3.
Our recent form suggests we won't have too big a home crowd, so as long as you don't show up two minutes to three, you shouldn't have a problem getting in.
If you need anything else, let me know.

Does the Kingfield arms have bt sport?

It did the last time I was in there, but that was a couple of years ago. Another option is the crown and anchor a bit further up that has always had bt sport, but might be an idea to call ahead to either of them as they've both changed hands recently.

And I don't think we'll bring 2,000 like others are saying, 1,500 tops

Atmosphere will be superb from the travelling Gas army again I'm sure. Even more so if Grimsby go and beat Barnet at lunchtime!

I'm quite confident we will take over 2000 , although it will probably officially show we have less because I think gas will be in all parts of the ground

We unofficially took 1200 to Nuneaton regardless of what they officially said (970) on a cold Sunday the day before everyone went back to work after the new year and awkward train travel. Woking is easy to get to , on a Saturday , 2nd in the table, Barnet on Bt sport early doors , 2 high profile signings and endless options regarding train travel , course we will take over 2000 , we take that to places like reading and Brentford on a Tuesday night ffs , watch this space ?

Which stand will away fans be in? The large new stand behind the goal or the small old ones along the side opposite the away open terrace?

Probably a section and a half for your lot, then a few seats blocked off, then the rest for home fans.

Unfortunately not, there's a bar but it's only for home fans when games are segregated.

Another Woking fan here
Just thought I'd add there is a bar in the Snooker Club right opposite the away turnstiles which normally caters for away fans up to a certain number. As for pubs, the Kingfield Arms had BT Sport when I was in there last about 6 months ago, if not the Crown and Anchor in Old Woking has BT Sport like Supercards said. If you're not too bothered about BT Sport, The Sovereigns is definitely your best bet, and its on the way to the ground from the station. The usual Spoons, Yates and O'Neill's is in the town centre a 1 minute walk from the station as well.
