There's a suggestion that Lee Mansell scored the first goal? Confirmed on our official Twitter account.

A great achievement by Clarke and the team. 4 wins and a draw over the Christmas period is brilliant. All the posts from the negative diehards praising Clarke and the Rovers is also good to see. That's the spirit!!

Just back. Was getting a bit worried when the fog coupled with the dreadful floodlights made things very difficult.Referee best yet .Great day.Awful ground with no concessions. However,Bliss missed an open goal and no weak performances.Onwards and upwards.More punch in front of goal and we would have had a Hatful.Loved the chant at their on loan Keeper who was dressed in all pink and was Ginger.'Ginger and Pink ,your'e avin' a laugh'.Didn't appear to be any programmes on sale.

Just home, the main things I'll remember from that game were a professional job done performance and how cold it was. Nuneaton as a club were great.

Back to front, we were superb and did a solid job.
Not sure I've experienced a frost like that at football, in a very long time!

Never in a million years was there only 900 Rovers fans there! Embarrasing from them to even suggest it. If there was 1600 in the ground, then 1200 rovers is more like it! Got to agree with that. Sounds like a VAT beating attendance announcement.

Strong, workmanlike performance. Might have deserved another goal or 2. Puddy never troubled. Thought Parkes and Macca dominant and decent displays from our midfield and Matt Taylor. Like Nathan's goal record for us but felt he might have done better on a few occasions.
Still no complaints from me - great Gas Xmas, been to all 5 games and enjoyed every moment!!
Come on you Blues

A very cold and very dull game that we were in complete control of from start to finish.
Job done, roll on Woking.

An away win is very important but remember we were playing probably the worst side in the League who didnt muster a shot on target. We are Bristol Rovers and today shows yet again how far we have fallen and how very very easily so many of you are so easily satisfied. Personally I am very disappointed with just 2 goals. How many would Barnet have scored I wonder. We should have a team capable of tearing apart teams like Nuneaton and the fact we clearly dont really worries me. Today was a chance to reduce the goal difference by scoring several more than just two. Yes im happy with three points after the disappointment of the last game but we are way behind where we could and should be. Demand more !

So using your logic to gauge how far we have fallen by how many goals barnet would have scored. How would we do at Lincoln away after today??? We would have lost 6 maybe 7-1 as again using your logic we are not as good BUT wait didn't we win 3-2 at Lincoln?? We have just taken 13 from 15 points from a tough set of x mas fixtures, of which it included a 4-0 win against 3rd in the league. I will demand more, I will demand more from unrealistic supporters that need educating on achieveable aims and targets.

How anyone can moan at our recent run of results is completely beyond me. Yes, I accept the fact that it was a disgrace that we dropped out of the football league, however, we are where we are and Darrell and the team are to be congratulated on our current position, which I wouldn't have expected at the start of the season. We haven't won anything yet, but hopefully with a couple of decent signings coming to the club we have put ourselves in a fantastic position to go for the top spot. Statto's out there, when was the last time we were second in the table at this stage of the season??

Enjoyable day out, friendly people, terrible ground and the coldest I have been at a match for many a year. Great support for the gas and for us older gasheads great to visit the home town of Larry Grayson comic genious.

costalgas is surely...surely a wind up merchant. That must be parody.
Obviously whatever happens over the 90 minutes every game is reminder of how far we've fallen because every game is in the Conference (strangely enough). Maybe what Clarke needs to do is pay for games to played at league 1 grounds when teams are away, dress the part time conf team in a Sheffield United or whatever kit and get all the ground staff to play along. Then just hope nothing happens to remind anyone we are in the 5th tier. That said Clarke has failed spectacularly to get us back into the league in half a season. It's not good enough.

Anyone who thinks that we will just turn up and turn teams over in this league are living in a dream world. We should take the important 3 points and move on. Clarke seems to have sorted out the players mentality, and although I know your not his biggest fan, you really should eat some humble pie and give the man some respect. Looking at a few of your previous posts, your either the most negative Rovers fan on here, or not a Rovers fan at all?
