Tounkara is still a free agent after Stevenage released him. The kind of player who could cause chaos at this level. Exactly the player we need, would love to have him back

I think we can sign players for a fee if the player is at a club below the conference premier. Kuffour is at Sutton United in the conference south so could be the player we are after, i thought he was okay during his time here although his career has taken a dip since he left us. I think bringing a senior player at 33 like him back to the club could benefit a strike force that is pretty young and inexperienced. I think the better option would be to try and tempt someone like Marvin Morgan or Patrick Agyemang on loan until January.

His goal at Leicester was one of the best I have seen from a Rovers player. He had some good games! Leicester away as mentioned, I remember him and Heffernan tearing Swindon to shreds in a 4-0 win, he scored a couple against Leeds too, if my memory serves me correctly! He was a decent lower league player who averaged about 1 goal every 3 games, not great by any means but on his day he could be a handful

J.K. was ruined by the fact that Trollope either played him as a wide man or up front on his own.

I don't disagree but surely Wycombe didn't do the same to him? He's a spent force who hasn't even scored in 4 games for lowly Sutton Utd.

I really liked Kuffour when he was here before but given how his career has gone lately, I wouldn't have thought it'd be a good idea. Tounkara could well be worth a go though

He seems to get the blame for most of the ''bad'' things that have happened to BRFC, but given no credit for any success. Trollope out, indeed.

If we want a striker who spends most of his time outside the penalty area with his back to goal backing into defenders, or doing fancy step overs with no end end product then Joker4 is exactly the man we want!
And thats why it's a hell no from me.

We should've signed Tounkara back when he was trialing with us under John Ward's Half-Season Miracle and scored a handful of goals.
Now that we have the chance again - which we shouldn't, really - we HAVE to strike as soon as possible, or we will pass up again on a very skilled striker not only for our level but maybe for the upper level(s?) as well.

Wasn't he said to be part of a divisive dressing room clique with carl regan and ronnie lescott?
