Some have indicated the yellow 3rd shirt would be a good seller, but as yet it is not available for sale.
So the question is would you buy one if the shirt was put on sale by the club?

We beat Old Big Mouth's Brighton 2-8 wearing it. A no-brainer.

I believe doing something 'limited edition' similar to the pink kit would make great sense, perhaps only releasing 500 shirts (that could be numbered if cost effective to do so). I think they would fly off the shelves. I did ask in the shop whether it would be made available and was told in no uncertain terms that it wouldnt, which makes me think that there are reasons why it cannot be sold - possibly related to the agreements within the shirt sponsorship 'raffle'?

Don't really understand why they're not releasing it, unlike the Home & Away it's an off the peg kit just printed up. Easy to sort and sell.
I wouldn't buy one though.

Interesting opinions and votes so far. I'll let the poll run as long as the last one (on the 1883 Polo shirts) to get some sort of comparative data.

It was bought by my Dad so I genuinely have never bought one. They cost too much and are very poor in quality

Never bought a replica shirt. They are all rubbish and a Rip off. Here here, KP. Like you I've never bought one, but I was given one as a present once. Very nice it was too. It was the retro version, where I could pretend to be Alfie or Geoff. It has long sleeves, original City of Bristol badge, original colours of blue and white quarters, and perhaps most importantly . . . absolutley no advertising to be seen at all. A perfect reproduction, and I'm lucky to have it. But as I've said it was a very nice present, but I don't think that I would ever buy one for myself.

The thing is that we play mostly in Winter months, I tend to wear think and warm clothing. Any football shirt, if I did have one, would only be warn as a undershirt anyway. I am of an age where thermal is best . Old git me

Have you been told about the initiation ceremony though, Rod? You may change your mind, but one thing's for certain . . . it'll certainly sort out the men from the boys.

Forget trying to market a yellow shirt.
We should bring back the Pink shirt. If we struck a deal with cancer research, added the logo, and donated X pounds for every shirt sold, it would probably out-sell the adult home shirt. We need to target women shoppers not blokes who buy one shirt every 5 years.
Regardless of which shirts we decide to sell, the most important thing is to get them into every supermarket and sports shop in Bristol and the surrounding area.

Pink shirt - that's the next in line for this exciting series of market research polls !! I went into Sports Direct at Cribbs the other week. When asked at the checkout if there was anything else that I wanted, I said yes, but you haven't got any Rovers shirts. The girl looked at me as though I had two heads. By the way, there were no City shirts either, but plenty of Newcastle, Chelsea, Man City. Where did it all go wrong?

I don't know why people think just because something is pink women will buy it... It depends if it's linked to a charity. If it is, here's a picture of the possible customers: The most difficult challenge is to get Gas merchandise into every supermarket and sports shop in Bristol with a selection of colours and designs.

Despite my protestations about Sports Direct not having any kit from either Bristol club, it makes more sense to exclusively distribute from club outlets for a club of Rovers size, to maximise the revenue and margin. With the exception being the few local independents like Doug Hillard sports (I'll admit - living nowhere near Fishponds, I don't know if this still exists).
