Well ... Labour decided to raise the top rate of tax to 50% & lots of very, very rich people said bollocks to that I'm moving elsewhere. The result was that the amount of tax raised from the top rate went down. Well done Labour another great headline that cost the country money Wow, that's hilariously wrong. The bloke has about a billion pounds in assets. I don't think he was worried about a rise in income tax. Also, revenue gained from that tax rise was (according to George Osborne) about £100m/pa. If you raise the tax rate, the super-rich flood out of the UK. It's a natural law. And a fact, since I have read it in the Daily Mail and Telegraph. I believe we should exempt all rich barons from any form of taxation, and then they would flood in with investment and save us all.

They celebrate morons like this Divvy bloke, then scream blue murder when Rovers fans of similar ilk exhibit their intelligence levels. Incredible hypocrisy. That's a disgusting way to refer to somebody who has just passed away after a long battle with illness. Yes, like thousands of others, Mark was involved in the hooligan scene when he was younger. If you've watched or read any of the interviews with him, you'll know that his values changed with age, and he has been inspirational to a lot of people during his illness. It's views like yours that keep the fires of hatred stoked. That doesn't change the fact that because of people like him, football followers everywhere have been given a terrible reputation and I personally have been unjustly treated like scum by police and stewards merely for wanting to watch my team. He certainly wasn't sorry for his actions, glorifying them at his own funeral in fact, so why would I condone them?

Noticed he had a CSF tshirt on when he was giving his team talk to the squad before a home game & posing in a picture with Cotterill. Wonder if anyone in that room knew what it was all about. Most strange. They celebrate morons like this Divvy bloke, then scream blue murder when Rovers fans of similar ilk exhibit their intelligence levels. Incredible hypocrisy. Better off saying nowt rather than ranting and raving about someone who's just died after a long illness and who you probably don't know... Ridiculous..

Before my time and wrong part of Bristol for me and I don't buy into the Hooligan stuff but the mans funeral was this week and he spent a lot of time inspiring people (alongside the Rovers Chaplain) so he deserves some respect and decorum.

Yes at a time when a lot of people have come together to show some respect to a person who has died after an awful illness it is a shame that one attention seeking social misfit has seen fit to make improper remarks. Of course the internet is a marvellous place for vile individuals to spread their poison, which of course they wouldn't dare to do in the real world, what a shame that it is this site where it has happened ( and not for the first time either ),I truly hope that Marks family never see these comments.

I find all this angst about Kaiserbcfc82 coming on here and people saying how he should be banned amusing. Most of his posts that I have read have been fine and I am not trying to be funny but (much as I hate the fact) his side are currently leading Division 3 and we have just lost to our closest rivals Forest Green Rovers (formerly Stroud FC) in Division 5.....
He has not been rude, ignorant or abusive or made any personal comments like some of the Gasheads on here have done towards each other!! If you can get past the fact he is a sad individual supporting City82 he comes across quite well.
Not that Gasheads would brag on a City82 forum if the roles were reversed......come on guys, lighten up!

OUT OF ORDER fella , totally bang out of order. Mark Saunders was a lovely guy, salt of the earth and if he was your friend then you had a loyal and decent friend. He never denied his part in the hooligan years, there are many of us who were a part of that but it's in the past. Those who pass uneducated comment on it really need to talk to some of those people. Our own club chaplain, Dave Jeal, was one of the worst of them and yet he had turned out to be a decent guy. We have authors, solicitors, financiers and other Highfalutin positions. They are not morons. It's times like this, when I read such a crass comment, that I feel like giving up on Rovers. The day went off well with fans of both teams paying their respects. It would be good if you could apologise but I'll not hold my breath Can't say I ever met Mark (knowingly) so obviously won't comment but if you think that DJ was one of "the worst" then your memory must be playing tricks on you!!

That offends some people, and it has to be expected that they have their say if so?

If you are really that angry and fired up about it why don't you do something about it, perhaps arrange for a meet up, duelling pistols at dawn. Or perhaps you could take us back to the good old days of the 70s and arrange fisticuffs in some back street somewhere? I wouldn't agree with his assessment of Dean Windass (who I would be more than happy to buy several large drinks) now I have read it but I haven't seen anything elsewhere to inspire such anger as you seem to have.

No anger at all ... I work in Mental Health and found his comment offensive. Based on his comment I think it was very hypocritical for him to then challenge neative remarks about Mark Saunders. I found both cases very sad but hey ho you carry on defending him

I found both cases very sad but hey ho you carry on defending him I volunteer with the Samaritans and deal with a lot of people suffering with mental health issues. Where did Kaiser raise an issue about mental health for you as a practitioner to be offended? I have obviously missed something. Please feel free to correct me .
