London wasps have announced that they are moving lock stock and barrel to play their home games in Coventry at the Ricoh arena, a 107 mile journey. With baths problems getting planning for the rec, would it be a good idea for NH to try and get them on board for a ground share going half a on building costs. A 12 mile journey must be more attractive than the 200 mile round trip wSps expect their fans to make. Discuss.

No rugby for me thanks, Bristol or bath!
We've put up with their pitch ruining ways for long enough. A stadium where we are the only side gracing the turf, would be awesome.

Wasps are an itinerant club who have no local identity since they left London. Bath are Bath.

I would prefer to wait until such time as we have a new stadium to move to ourselves, before speculating too much on the future arrangements that could come about.

I'm not suggesting they come in as tenants but as partners. They have cash for rec redevelopment, we could have cash from mem sell to housing. Between the 2 enough cash to get uwe built. This could be a plan b if sainsburys are allowed to pull out.

Prefer not to have any egg chasers involved with any new stadium (sharp intake of breath that one will ever be built). But if that is what is needed to get to the promised land then there would have to be investment to the pitch (Desso) to make it work on the pitch. No reason why it could not be of mutual benefit off the pitch.. Of course the debate about anything happening regarding any sort of stadium rages on.....and on.....and on.

Yet another horse running, so to speak.

What could possibly go wrong. On past performance . . . virtually everything. Does he know yet what League it is, that we play in?

They know the potential of filling a 20000 seat stadium in Heineken cup games, hence why they are desperate to redevelop the rec which has been turned down. Their problem is buying land in bath, it's not going to happen. This could be the answer to both clubs ambition

Coventry council have sold half the stadium to wasps so making Coventry City tenants bath rugby are now owned by William Craig who is almost a billionaire having sold up his pharmaceutical company in France I think his is bristolian as he was a couple of years below me at school ( st Brendan's ) don't know if he is interested in football but he could build the uwe with his spare change we moved to bath so i can't see why bath rugby won't come to south glos
