As there isn't going to be a UWE stadium the suggestion, good though it is, is moot. Let's all move on and be grateful the Mem is more than enough for our needs.

Change the record (if you are old enough to know what that is) I'm old enough to know when it's time to let it go and I'm only responding to someone else's aged record selection since you choose that metaphor...no new stadium, no need, not enough money even if Sainsburys cough up. Time for the you and the rest of the wannabe rose tinters to grow up.

Wasps are an itinerant club who have no local identity since they left London. Bath are Bath. Whats worse is it is shafting Coventry Rugby. Fecking disgrace Ah! does this mean it would shaft Lansdown RFC

Wycombe who are already skint will lose the income from London Wasps when they move. This is a terrible shame, I'm sure we can all agree My Wycombe mate (if its still okay to have one!) says that the rugby is cost neutral to them, so they're pleased to be ditching them.

This extract from an interview with Bruce Craig last month indicates that he is determined to keep the rugby club in Bath.
The drawn-out saga as to where Bath should play is on-going although contrary to indications of a few years ago, they will remain in the city.
“I absolutely want to keep rugby at the Rec,” said Craig, dismissing the notion once pedalled that they would move to a brownfield site.
“I will do everything I can to make it happen. It is a magical place. We need to any development harmonious with the city. We don’t want a monstrosity or to cause angst. But Bath is rugby and rugby is Bath. It is the heart and soul of this city.”

I'm not suggesting they come in as tenants but as partners. They have cash for rec redevelopment, we could have cash from mem sell to housing. Between the 2 enough cash to get uwe built. This could be a plan b if sainsburys are allowed to pull out. Coventry council have sold half the stadium to wasps so making Coventry City tenants bath rugby are now owned by William Craig who is almost a billionaire having sold up his pharmaceutical company in France I think his is bristolian as he was a couple of years below me at school ( st Brendan's ) don't know if he is interested in football but he could build the uwe with his spare change we moved to bath so i can't see why bath rugby won't come to south glos
Its Bruce Craig .... he was two year above me at School .
Loves Rugby little interest to date in football . Wealthy guy not the billionaire though . Mr Lansdown is wealthier by a long way.

Pharmaceutical logistics; not a subject on our curriculum when I was at St. Brendan's College. We were still using writing slates and chalk when I was there, and don't start me on those bloody inkwells!
