I would even consider Taylor and Harrison, Taylor holds the ball up well and can play players in, Harison has genuine strength and pace , it could work . Taylor, 1 goal in 13, says it all, he looks scared stiff and has no confidence in front of goal. Watched Jamie White last week in the friendly with FGR, he was shocking, Cunnington and Ellis up front for me. O ye and Clarke needs to use is so called "connections" and bring in another attacker asap (preferably somebody he did not have at Salisbury, in the league below). UTG Just got back from holiday, whilst away i recommended to Marcus Stewart the 2 strikers at Gosport Borough who have 21 goals between them this season, and 1,Bennett,has scored over 20or them in 6 seasons, prolific or what, this compared to Taylors 29 in 4 seasons, and in none of those did he score more than 10 goals, not prolific as shown by the number of missed chances he has had.Anyway more to the point MS response was that the 2 strikers playing regularly are doing very well and we dont need any more.We have played 14 games scored 17 goals and our top scoring striker has 3.If the club are happy with that then we will still be in the conference next season.Needless i was not satisfied with MS response so i contacted David Brain and asked him to pass the info onto our DOF,namely NH to see what he has to say.We are still awaiting a reply

Those who think Cureton was a viable option and that he 'wanted to come here' clearly didn't hear what John Ward said when he tried to sign him in the summer of 2013. I don't necessarily think he was the problem, but his agent certainly was. his agent was def an issue in 2013 ... this year JC would have played for next to nothing

ellis has overtaken white in the pecking order which in turn pushed brunt out of the picture...i think ellis will start tonight, hes not had a long run as an out and out striker,it will be interesting to see how many goals he scores if he gets a decent run starting matches,if he could play to his eastleigh form regularly it could be the icing on the cake for this team?

We need to be more clinical. We need to score more goals. We need to kill games off. If our current forwards cannot convert their chances then we need to go out and get a forward that can ASAP. I honestly believe we have a great chance of doing something this season. We CAN be a football league club next season. Goals scored cost us last year. Please don't let it happen again this season. Completly agree.

Cunnington and Taylor starting tonight. White and Harrison on the bench.

Ok, lets go with the manager's judgment on this. Bring it on!
