LL has an amazing voice for radio. I too a big DID fan. You know, if I was ever with her on the show, I would do the ‘you can get a good 3 minutes from a 7 inch’ gag. Is this the moment for her to provide tune of the day? i think it's her north east accent that does it really, her knowledge of her trade is v good......and .....what is 3 minutes!!!  Three minutes is about right, ain’t it? Leaves time for a slash, pour a pint, grab packet of crisps and second half’s kicking off. 😗 |

She's So Modern by The Boomtown Rats. Always liked their first few 45s. I used to be friends with Dave McHale. He was the unofficial 7th Boomtown Rat. He played keyboard for them at their live gigs. He didn't have anything nice to say about Bob Geldof ! He used to live in Frankfurt which is where he died. |

I have always liked the first few 45s. Looking after number 1. Shes so Modern. Mary 4th Form. Like Clockwork. Always Someone Looking at you. Don't like Mondays. Their biggest hit - I assume - Rat Trap I wasnt so keen on. |
