not too sure about the music!!! but........  Not a big disco fan, but you have to give it to Quincy Jones... genius producer of "Off The Wall" and "Thriller" amongst many other things. I note that the clip teases us with the opening bars of Treason by The Teardrop Explodes and then cuts off. Disgraceful behaviour. |

My favourite song of Elton's. It's often overlooked and is perfectly paced with some excellent dramatic moments. 'It's 4 o'clock in the morning, dammit, listen to me good!!!'
Brilliant piano.
Good example of the edgier Elton of the 70s where he was churning out 2 albums a year.
Check out the Central Park performance in 1980, awesome, the someone is Long John Baldry who saved Elton from suicide in 1968.
Brilliant song.
