I thought we had the better of the first half but where that penalty came from I have no idea. We need to pass it better and more accurate and I think a goal will come. Whether we'll do enough to win I'm not sure. I'd like to retract the last part of my statement! |

Dave Martin needs to go back to Luton hes s***. We need to get rid of Parkes and Brown asap both s*** and massively over paid. Whole team needs to be in for training on Sunday for surrendering in the second half! Not good enough.... As usual the best Thing about Rovers today is the fans... Take a bow Gasheads.Most have left the game...... Perhaps that's just as well with some of comments some may have greeted the players with. Still we were warned plenty of times what to expect from Braintree, one assumes we were prepared for this game and what to expect, what now ? Seems like we failed to take account of the ability of Braintree and that's down to the preparation of the management team and the failure of most of the players to mentally attune themselves to what is expected at this level......part time Braintree 2 full time Bristol Rovers 0. |

They get 1000 supporters, we get 5000+, we have the resources to dismantle part time pub teams.
When will people get it, this manager is a liability. Didn't the last 8 games of last season teach us anything?

Sad to say it --- But I really think Clark is out of his depth and a change will be made imminently.Trouble is who is out there who would come to us ?Even Keith Brookman is hurt by the way we are playing today. I for one hope Luton get rid of John Still and we somehow manage to come here. I'd be surprised though. |

Saw a kid walking down Muller road with a Gas shirt on this morning, and then the rest of his team followed with AC Milan, Liverpool and Man City shirts, etc. I thought, fair play to him, but really, what has he done to deserve this. |

The last 8 games of the season told us you can't flog a dead horse, you must be really thick if you haven't worked that one out. Not sure what having a large fan base and being a full time club has to do with anything. Part time teams are full of quality players who would rather earn more money doing a job they enjoy and play football on top of that, and i don't think it matters whether there is 6,000 or 600 coming through the gate, if there is a disease running through the club it will ultimately die. People need to accept that DC is going to be given time, if we have another Dave Penney situation then we might aswell dissolve the club, the bloke is only 7 games into his managerial career with us, Penney had 13 games and got the bullet which was disgraceful. |

Being a full time club has everything to do with it, our players should be fitter, it's that simple, we should be playing a high tempo game for 90 mins, and taking total control in the final 20 mins as the part timers tire. That's how it works everywhere else anyway. |

Well full time players should be fitter than there part time counterparts. I don't think Rovers are. I agree the Dave Penney scenario was disgraceful -- But this is something altogether different. Clark is completely out of his depth. I also think his assistants should go as well. |
