Yes. A debate between JMc shouting “you cannot be serious….” and JB replying in a faux French accent “calm down, calm down mon ami……” before nutting him and then calling it a “scrap.” Can’t wait! UTG! Viewing figures would of course be massive Wareham. Probably a better scrap than the Tyson Paul do.

The tweeting crisp salesman has repeatedly pushed the boundaries of what is and what is not acceptable for a BBC employee Ms Smegma. You must not let your political preferences blind you to this. If it had been anybody else, on a lower salary, they almost certainly would have been sacked.
If we must travel our separate ways on the impartiality rules, I trust we can at least agree that Lynam was an infinitely superior presenter? No matter how much he has pushed the boundaries, if Lineker had breached his contract he would most definitely have been sacked. The fact that he wasn’t says it all really. The bigger issue for public perception of BBC impartiality is that it is impossible if your board is exclusively made up of political appointees made by the Nasty Party who then set editorial direction. They’ll never be free of this until such time as Davie, Gibb et al are gone and replaced by independently recruited apolitical people. No political party should be allowed to influence a national broadcaster in the way that previous governments have and I’d say exactly the same if Keith did the same with his mates and cronies No matter what you think of his political views Lineker has done an excellent job in his time as compere of MOTD. Impossible to compare him objectively with anyone else eg Lynam. Any comparison will be a beauty contest based on our own subjective preferences. Agree though that Lynam was good in that role too The irony being in your last paragraph of course, if GL had expressed polar opposite political views he would never have been given the chance by the BBC ....who appear to employ diversity of everything except opinion.

On the contrary O2 he’d have been platformed to death. You only have to look at how disproportionately RW crackpots and grifters like Fromage, the Tufty St mafia, Camoron’s sister in law etc etc are given airtime by TBC. Then look at how their board is exclusively made up of Tories, how obsequious journos like the execrable Kuenssberg Mason and Robinson (also a Tory) are towards anyone from the political right and how quick they are to close down or not air alternative views. Lineker is vilified because he dares not to fit this RW mould

Lineker is vilified because he dares not to fit this RW mould Mason is left wing remainer!? The whole of the Brexit campaign (excluding election run up) was run by BBC with an anti Brexit rhetoric including any panel show always including more remainer than anyone. Completely outnumbered on every occasion. I mean every occasion. I'll see your Kuess, Robinson and raise you: James O'Brien (newsnight host). Andrew Marr (communist in youth Sunday host). Emily Maitless (can't control outburst on trump election win whom hosted Politics Live). We're kinda off topic, but many have turned their back on BBC news and current affairs exactly because of the lack of diversity in opinion. I truly believe GL would have been cancelled, invited not to return, contract not recurring or whatever you want to call it if his opinion was opposite.... we'll have to agree to disagree on that.

Can’t remember O’Brien ever being on BBC and both Marr and Maitlis (the best journo the Beeb had) have been booted out because they dared not follow the board’s pro RW agenda. Mason is most definitely not LW
Plenty of people have documented panelists on Question Time and it is beyond any doubt that RW/Nasty Party/Reform get platformed far more than lib dems or greens. Pretty much always two right wing panellists on there and the air time that the frog faced traitor gets is staggering.
