The definitive solution is for the supporters club to send a prospectus double quick to Ares Management.

Unfortunately although having split ownership may be seen to enable two sources of funds I’m not sure it plays out that way. I don’t know and am happy to be proved wrong. ATM I read it as Wael stirring things up in the background, eager to keep his place at the top table of football. (If you can call us that.😉) He still wants to be relevant and keep a high profile in the football world. I can't help but think that it's part of Wael's pitch to Al Saeed senior to replace Abdullatif as the football executive in the team ie his old job, that he might feel he rarely got the chance to do properly because of the influence of Hamer and Hani and things But I'm thinking that the majority owner had a clear view of the Barton era, which from memory is what happened when Wael had a relatively free reign (the one-stop shop of Scouse Mafia allowed him to exit Team Hamer, with a little bit of help from the Colonel when dealing with the SC and PC), so that he won't be tempted at all From looking at Abdul's performance and behaviour so far I see it as trying to stop us looking like an utter 💩 show which could see a manager walk away through constant interference. (Just my opinion). Wael had free rein as soon as his father died and Hani was no longer in the picture. We've now gone from Scouse mafia to Kuwaiti undergraduate scheme.
