Will we get to see the newbies? Can we improve on last week's performance? Will the three points be ours? I think it's a yes, yes, yes. A win and it won't be too bad a start to the season. A 2-0 win for me. UTG

Would expect Forde to start with Promise has to be bold
we certainly need a confidence winning Mem this afternoon.

Would expect Forde to start with Promise has to be bold we certainly need a confidence winning Mem this afternoon. Feeling nervous and expecting a tedious scrappy game with both defences holding a high line. Cue 7-0 gas...

A win 1-0 would be good. Turn an ok start into a decent one.

Would expect Forde to start with Promise has to be bold we certainly need a confidence winning Mem this afternoon. If this season presents some difficult rivers to cross, Forde could be pretty useful.

Our 2 new strikers have hopefully given the squad a lift.Compete ferociously, keep it tight and take a chance.Similar to the Cobblers game.I think we can win.1 0 to Rovers. 🏴☠️

Hope to see Luke Thomas moved further up the pitch. 2-0 Gas today with LT scoring.

Anyone know the best place to stream the match? I tried vipbox last week but the stream was pretty choppy

The road! That's where it's at...
Confident today...nice to see new signings on the pitch and old faces off..
Prediction: Gas 2-0. Billyongo and Promise . More cider than you can imagine. Good day all round.
Loving this one, UptheGas!

Scottie, Kofi and Hutch on the bench - creativity to bring on when it opens up

Strange game so far with neither team taking control. The goal came out the blue but luckily, for the blues!

interesting season-to-date stats from the BBC - the U's can clearly pass the ball, and shoot and score goals, but they seem leaky at the back
Rovers, as we know, need to find their passing rhythm. Probably aren't quite so bad attacking as we've talked ourselves into thinking though
Season so far - League One
League position Bristol Rovers 15th, Cambridge United 22nd
Total points, Bristol Rovers 4, Cambridge United 1
Goals scored Bristol Rovers 1 Cambridge United 4
Goals conceded Bristol Rovers 2 Cambridge United 7
Shots Bristol Rovers 22 Cambridge United 25
Shots on target Bristol Rovers 9 Cambridge United 14
Shots off target Bristol Rovers 13 Cambridge United 11
Blocked shots Bristol Rovers 7 Cambridge United 9
Passing accuracy % Bristol Rovers 62.98 Cambridge United 76.46

Not a bad crowd after last weeks result and the opposition - 7,893 Thought might have been a few more with the signings though.
