Still some recruitment to go from what MT says. I’m always optimistic so I’ll say somewhere between 8th and 16th. I’ll go for a comfortable 12th, with the hope that we reach 8th at some point to give us all hope of some excitement before dropping again.
12th it is then.

I’m going about where the bookies have us about in the middle of the table about 15th. Would love my prediction to be wrong in a good way but I don’t feel this squad has goals in us, we still haven’t signed a JCH type forward. My prediction might be altered if we sign a striker to go with the forward line we already have

I'm hoping we finish 12th or above, I'm expecting us to finish around 15th, so on that basis I'll drag the optimism down with a prediction of 19th.

Late to the party.
I think we’ll be 10th.
The owners have spent more than I’d thought so I think they will spend more come the winter transfer window.
I’m impressed by MT, I like the squad so far but it’ll be harder to score points off the top 6 teams this year whilst the bottom 6 teams will not be roll overs

Last year was a weak division. This is a strong division. We will do very well to finish ahead of Wrexham and Stockport, two of the promoted sides. Meanwhile Birmingham have spent amounts that would raise eyebrows in the championship.
I also don't think we are significantly stronger, and are possibly even weaker than last year. Players like Hutchinson and Omochere have potential but will take time to get to the required level.
I predict somewhere between 15th-19th.

Interesting that no one is tipping us for relegation..... first time in a while!

Interesting that no one is tipping us for relegation..... first time in a while! In the 'Covid' season, when we finished bottom of the league, people were tipping us for a top six finish and getting prematurely excited over Max Ehmer, Zain Westbrooke and Brandon Hanlon. I think there are enough poor teams in the division for us to not worry about relegation.

After watching the first game I’m gonna stick my neck out and predict we’ll finish 2nd ahead of Wrexham

I know it's only one game after a decent pre season, but I'm going for us to going for a playoff push.
Getting that win Saturday was huge and takes the pressure off slightly over the next two away games. If we can get another couple of wins from the next 3/4 games, then that's a decent start.
Decent starts can develop into a building block for a decent season very quickly with momentum.... There seems to a good energy around this new group so let's see where that lands us.
I'm going with a 8th placed finish.

Granted I had the benefit of first game which defensively we looked very good and going forward the old fashion hoff up to the CF I was pleased to see.
So with MT appearing to be bringing down the curtain on the tedious tippy tappy keeping procession football (recently perfected by England in the euros) that is passing the ball around from the half way line until it eventually ending up with the keeper - then repeat!
Therefore I will go with a finish in seventh place, and should I nail it, to avoid feeling guilty by having the one game advantage, I shall donate all my winnings to a local charity.
