I think people are now 'VERY MUCH' anti Starmer, as he is proving himself to be a wreckless...arrogant and bigoted C.U.N.T !!! He is the country's leader by default. This labour party is the most racist, vile, anti semitic UK party that I've ever seen in my lifetime - more so than the BMP, as they do it very secretly! It's Prejudice towards British born citizens, white men,the Jews and anyone that disagree's with them is unpardonable. Now that is just plain silly. You might not like their policies or leaders, and you are of course entitled not to if you feel differently about the economy, immigration and law enforcement. But the Labour Party are not, emphatically not, 'the most racist, vile, anti semitic UK party that I've ever seen in my lifetime'. Come on now. It's a ludicrous thing to say. I know you won't backtrack but I bet that in private you know that what you have written is wrong on virtually all levels. You do yourself a disservice writing nonsense like that. The forum already has one who spouts this kind of mindless rhetoric and you appear better than him. Maybe not. Well that's the impression that they have given me during the short time they have been in office. Its up to them to prove me wrong. I don't like saying the above, far from it, but some of the language that they have used towards the Jews, and myself as a British male... purely because I have a different, and non aggressive view to them is terrifying. Ive very much hope this changes.

Now it turns out Lord Waheed Alli, who has been the government's sugar daddy, met with brutal Syrian Bashar al-Assad on several occasions and called for him not to be deposed. Hmm...

Depends on the context, he wouldn't be the first to do that. Edit: GB News and Guido from a House of Lords debate in 2013. I recall several Conservative MPs were against military action at the time and prevented Cameron from doing so in the vote.

Keir Starmer calls for end to 'devastating cycle of violence' as UK backs push for ceasefire in Lebanon..by Lizzy Buchan, Political Editor
i2-prod.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article33753712.ece/ALTERNATES/s1200e/0_Starmer-visit-to-New-York.jpg Keir Starmer travelled to the UN in New York for a diplomatic push over conflicts in the Middle East, Ukraine and Sudan Keir Starmer tonight called for an end to the “devastating cycle of violence” in the Middle East as the UK backed a high-stakes push for a ceasefire in Lebanon. In his first address to the UN General Assembly in New York, the Prime Minister said Israel and Hezbollah must “step back from the brink” to prevent all-out war. The UK joined allies including the US and the EU to demand a 21-day ceasefire in Lebanon to give space to find a diplomatic solution to the conflict. A joint statement said: "The situation between Lebanon and Israel since October 8th, 2023 is intolerable and presents an unacceptable risk of a broader regional escalation. This is in nobody's interest, neither of the people of Israel nor of the people of Lebanon." But Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said his military would continue to strike Hezbollah with “full force” as he touched down in New York. The UK has been part of intense diplomatic efforts to stem the conflict as Mr Starmer made his first visit to the UN as Prime Minister. In a direct address to Israel and Hezbollah, Mr Starmer said: “Stop the violence. Step back from the brink. “We need to see an immediate ceasefire to provide space for a diplomatic settlement and we are working with all partners to that end. Because further escalation serves no one. “It offers nothing but more suffering for innocent people on all sides and the prospect of a wider war that no one can control. And with consequences that none of us can foresee.” The PM called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, adding: “It shames us all that the suffering in Gaza continues to grow.” He went on: “The answer is diplomacy. The release of all the hostages. “And the unfettered flow of aid to those in need. That is the only way to break this devastating cycle of violence.” It comes as the Israel Defence Forces said the head of one of Hezbollah's air units was killed in a strike on a southern suburb in Beirut. In a post published on X, the IDF said "fighter jets attacked Beirut and killed Mohammad Hussein Surur". The IDF said Surur had joined Hezbollah in the 1980s and "directed and commanded" many drone attacks aimed at Israel. It has been 24 years since the Israeli army left southern Lebanon, ending 22 years of occupation. British nationals have been urged to leave Lebanon while there are still commercial flights, with around 4,000 to 6,000 Brits believed to be still in the country. The Prime Minister has urged people to leave immediately and the UK has deployed 700 troops to nearby Cyprus to assist with evacuation if necessary. Downing Street said the UK stands ready to ramp up contingency plans to get Brits out if the situation deteriorates. Mr Starmer told journalists this week: “Yes, we are ramping up the contingency plans, I think that you would expect that in light of the escalation. But it is important that we be really, really clear: now is the time to leave." I wonder if Starmer and Lammy are actually making things worse, perhaps they appear to be so ineffectual that the Israeli govt (and anyone else who hears their speeches) has a total lack of respect for them.

"I did agree when he said that due to security concerns he couldnt sit in the stand at Arsenal and he has been invited to sit in the directors box" - Sunak used to sit in the stands at Southampton with only two security guys. Surely easier to protect the berk in the directors box than in the stand ?...as for Sunak he is so small and inoffensive that i cant imagine anyone attacking him at a match (would be like kicking a kitten) whereas Starmer seems to be an arrogant **** and would be too tempting a target for a lot of people.

MP Rosie Duffield quits Labour over Starmer 'hypocrisy' Member of Parliament (MP) Rosie Duffield delivers a speech during a session at Westminster. She is holding a sheet of paper. IMAGE SOURCE, REUTERS Tom McArthur BBC News Published 28 September 2024, 17:46 BST Updated 1 minute ago MP Rosie Duffield says she is quitting Labour over leader Keir Starmer's "cruel" policies and "hypocrisy" over his acceptance of gifts. In her resignation letter, published by the Sunday Times, external, the Canterbury MP lambasts Sir Keir Starmer for the “staggering hypocrisy” of accepting gifts worth tens of thousands of pounds while scrapping the winter fuel payment and keeping the two-child benefit cap. In the letter she said the “revelations of hypocrisy” since the change of government in July had been “staggering and increasingly outrageous”. "I cannot put into words how angry I and my colleagues are at your total lack of understanding about how you have made us all appear." She added: "The sleaze, nepotism and apparent avarice are off the scale. I am so ashamed of what you and your inner circle have done to tarnish and humiliate our once proud party.” She wrote: "Someone with far-above-average wealth choosing to keep the Conservatives' two-child limit to benefit payments which entrenches children in poverty, while inexplicably accepting expensive personal gifts of designer suits and glasses costing more than most of those people can grasp - this is entirely undeserving of holding the title of Labour prime minister." First elected in 2017, Duffield's decision to quit the party follows the suspension of seven other Labour MPs who rebelled on the King's Speech by voting for a motion calling for the two-child benefit cap to be abolished.
Well said Rosie 👍
